Finnie closed her eyes but did not fall asleep again. She just sat. All her life she had been constantly on the move. It was nice to know that there was no reason to run and she could be at peace.

Just then, there was the sound of a growl, and the snap of something heavy breaking a twig. The growl did not sound like that of a wolf, or a bear, it sounded almost unnatural. Finnie tensed. "Oh no."

Suddenly, a small green creature burst out of the trees and charged straight at them, swinging its club left and right, sending wood splinters and grass and dirt everywhere causing quite the chaos. Finnie groaned, "Oh no no no no-" Then she started to laugh uncontrollably.

Finnie continued to laugh, but the goblin skittered to a stop. It stared at the shiny object for a minute before snatching it away in its grubby hands, giving them a nasty look, and running away.

Finnie shook with laughter. "Destcrution and chaos, everything lives and everything dies in a fire. Lives, and dies, lives, and dies." Her other eye became yellow with a slanted black pupil as she laughed and laughed. It was clear that this was the insaneness that Finnie had been describing.

Finnie giggled one more time as suddenly the eye that had turned flickered like a broken light, then turned to normal. She gasped like she had burst out of a pool of water, and groaned. "Urgh-oh no. It happened again, didn't it?" She hid her face in her hands. "I can't believe it. I can't believe I lost control again."
