As the rustling in the bushes intensified, Jesse got ready to attack. As whatever it was noisily came closer, Jesse really couldn't imagine what it could possibly be. As they were bracing for the worst, out hopped a harmless Spoink. Jesse didn't want to catch it, so he just stared at it. He was embarrassed as he could basically feel the girls laughing at him with their eyes. All he said was "wow"

Then, all of a sudden, an aquav berry fell in the middle of them. Sophie looked up to see a Staravia with something in it's claws. Maybe it was that?

Jesse looked over at his Hawlucha. He muttered under his breath "I think they're deaf buddy. Or I'm mute, you tell me." Hawlucha shook his head and Jesse laughed. He had never been good at making friends so he guessed it wasn't really surprising that they were ignoring him. He had his Hawlucha glide above him using the always present drafts of wind above them, and yelled back "Your Welcome for the locket!!" and he and his Hawlucha went into a journey of their own. *unless*
