Trainers had always been a pokemons best friend. They never caused the Pokemon harm and seemed to love them well enough. Few Pokemon could complain and those that did often were wild anyways. Well on September 19th 2078, a factory in Hong Kong exploded sending chemical waves out into the surrounding areas. The Pokemon that lived around there were infected, turning into stronger and more aggressive versions of themselves such as this:
The Pokemon started attacking their trainers, causing fear to arise among the human population. Many humans were killed, and on July 5th, 2079, the entire human population was wiped out. The Pokemon that were mutated died off after a while but some of them had eggs before they left bringing on a new generation to fill there aggressive shoes. These hatched Pokemon weren't aggressive though, they just had special gifts. Known as the Kindling's, these Pokemon are held as high esteem among the Pokemon community. There gifts can be small but usually come with a price. Ex: A Piplup with the ability to move objects with her mind but is deaf.

Pokemon gift: Ability to Read minds but is a mute
Pokemon Info: A two year old Vulpix who is often found near rocky cliffs and mountains. Her parents abandoned her and she is a loner by heart. He ability is mostly unknown by others because she cannot talk about it. She can communicate by drawing things with her paw. She is very short tempered and is often followed by a trail of flames in her wake. When angered her tail curls up tighter than normal and she will stick her front paws forward as if stretching. She has black eyes and a mouth that is only visible when she is drinking or eating. She is about 3' 2". Her favorite thing to do is sleep.

Pokemon: Mega Houndoom
Pokemon Name: Tervoi
Pokemon gift: Explained in the info.
Pokemon Info: While most Pokémon who can Mega Evolve will revert to their normal forms after some time, Tervoi has been unable to return to his normal Houndoom state. This is both his gift and his weakness, as this means he takes up more energy on a day to day basis which means that he has to rest more than other pokémon. (Also, his form is a bit different from a normal Mega Houndoom. Probably from the lack of a human triggering the Mega evolution, as humans are no longer a factor)
He's a mature male, having been around for a few years. He's gentle and kind, but powerful and protective instead of being destructive.

Pokemon Info: Fang has an uncontrollable power of seeing strange things like, monsters, ghosts, and sometimes demons. the only way to stay away from it is to be calm at all cost, so she stays away from anything that can make her
mad, scared, excited, or upset.
fang is a female poochyena that always stays quiet most of the time. she is about 1 year old and about 3'6

Berries to eat and water to drink, these were the two main things he was focused with at the moment.

It takes her maybe an hour before she comes across a bush. It contains three berries which she thankfully eats in less than a second. It isn't even enough to stop her stomach growls but she decides it will have to do considering how little food there is.
