"Oh..." Tristan mumbled. 'How does that even work?' he
wondered.
Then he not8ced Morgan and groaned. Grabbing him gently by the
tail, Tristan pulled him back away from the small crevice. "What's
so exciting down there?"
He really wished Morgan could talk. He understood that Morgan
wasn't interested in getting to know Tristan or really anyone else,
and that he didn't seem to be a fan of being owned by someone.
Tristan wouldn't mins if Morgan was more like a friend, or
companion, but he doubted Morgan would cooperate in that plan...
Tristan paused, sighing. He could give up and let go, or he could
try to drag Morgan along with him. Unable to decide, he just stood
there like an idiot. After a moment he decided to try to pull
Morgan along.
"Ow!" Tristan yelled, letting go of Morgan. "Fine then, geez," he
muttered regretfully. He didn't walk away though, curious about
what was in the crack still. Maybe he'd figure out why Morgan
wanted to stay in it so bad, or how and why there had been a
pokémon from a different region down there.
"Oh," he said. He didn't want Morgan to hurt it, even if this was
just a survival of the fittest situation... He bit his lip and
reached down to scoop rowlett up.
Tristan dropped it. "Eugh," he muttered, getting up and dusting his
hands off. 'Was that blood...?' he thought with a shudder.
He glanced around nervously, half-expecting some crazy killer
person to jump him, then he shook his head. 'I'm just being
paranoid.' He looked down at the rowlett again, and picked it
up. "Wanna come along?" he asked it.
Tristan looked down at the slithering thing and brought the rowlett
closer to him. "Oh great, what now..." he mumbled, wishing he
didn't get so scared about things.
