An old man settled down with his children at the burning fire as the two looked up at the endless and vast sky that was adorned with stars, he started an old story. "There was a folklore- now a-days it's just a campfire story but still, it was passed along many ages, old and young... The tale of the forbidden hat... 'One day a weedle got an army hat with an unsuspecting curse put on it by witches... The curse was that if anyone or anything stole the hat from the shiny weedle-' many call him Nugget 'They would be turned into the original bearer of the hat and the original bearer was a weedle. A bright morning sky emerged from the clouds that were hiding it in little cracks. A trainer with short, fluffy hair stepped out into the grassy clearing, he was a bug catcher the age of 10. The brunette caught Nugget and didn't know the importance of shinies but he took Nugget for the fancy hat- and ONLY the army hat, what the boy didn't know is that it had a horrible curse. When he put it on everything seemed normal until a minute later... he grew a horn on head, bones were turning and cracking, flesh was peeling off, his arms and legs into tiny pink stubbles, he started to turn smaller then a tennis ball and slowly started turning a shade of yellow that looked almost golden, it was painful. He put his hands on the floor, only them and his legs holding him up as he grunted in pain and tried to call out for help, he'd stumbled into a part of the forest where NOBODY could hear his screams and pleas to make the pain stop, nor hear his voice... he tried to- but couldn't speak.. at all.... He thought the weedle was cursed so he released it. a day later and a weedle with a small, green army hat was plopped down in the middle of the forest. The boy regretted his actions and swore to not act greedily anymore. Many trainers and children did the same after him and soon the forest crawled with shiny weedles, beedrills and the like... soon after, the people began to think the missing children and the overdose of weedles and such in the forest was connected so they sent out a search team. They came back with one missing member, the others opted to go look for him and suffered the same fate as the bug catcher.'" The old man telling the tale smirked as his children fell asleep "I wonder if it'll 'appen again in the future sometimes" he laughed quietly and mumbled to himself as he put the children and himself to bed in their tents, They didn't know about the visitor- a small, shiny weedle with a green straw hat that sighed sadly and silently watched the old man tell the tale.. The factbook:

1. The original general is whispering in the other forcefully turned weedles metaphorical ears, slowly turning their brains into nothing and making them soulless drones

2. The weedles eat their clothes as a reminder that they can't go back to being human

3. The weedles break any mirror they can find, as they don't want to have a reminder of their true selves now

3. When the weedles turn into beedrills and mega evolve, sometimes you can hear the faint cry of a boy screaming

4. The weedles sometimes hold a festival and make small army hats out of silk with a date on them, a reminder of when they died

5. Names of the children who were turned into weedles got carved into the nearest tree they were close to

6. People call the curse 'Curse of the weedles forest'

7. The weedles make illusions using their string, the illusions are their former bodies and haunting voices, spooking any person who dare walk into the forest

8. When the weedles become kakunas they lose their emotions, it sometimes happens when their beedrills, mainly kakunas though

9. No-one knows the generals name, not even the first shiny weedle soldier to exist

10. The same thing happens to the caterpies but they don't lose their emotions and both clans fight over the forest
