So this happened in December 2019 (and idk if this is a bug or not but oh well.) I bought nuggets. Pretty normal. But about a week later I get a notification from my bank saying my card has been compromised. I hadn’t made any other purchases after that. What happened???

Credit cards can be weird. You could have made a purchase somewhere else before buy from PH and they got the number and just used it that day it got compromised.
But, the internet can be bad. Someone could have just stole it from some other website, or someone outside of the internet (like the store or something) could have stole it. Doesn't necessarily mean it was XSolla (the company PH uses for nugget purchases.)

Sometimes also, if a purchase looks fishy to the card provider they can and will suspend that card. It happened to me the first time I bought from PH, but I called and said that it was me and they reactivated the card. Other than that I've never had a problem with PH.

But since it's been a few months I don't know if there's anything you/the card provider/etc can actually do. Did you contact your bank when you got the message? If you did then it should be figured out. If you didn't it's probably too far out by now to return the money/get it figured out.

You just have to be careful online with sensitive stuff like that. There's really nothing the people of PH can do.

@Four I did contact them, we freezed the card and got a new one, I just wanted to point that out ;)
