You make it to the lab at 8:00 on the dot. "Hello silver, I've been waiting for you!" Said professor Aspen. "This must be very exciting for you" Come to the back of my lab. *In the back, you see a large rack of pokeballs, a giant computer, and a large TV screen.* "This is where your adventure begins" he says with a smile. "Go ahead and make your choice. But choose wisely, you can't change it later"

"A charamander eh?", Says a voice from the doorway. "Not a bad choice, but everyone knows that Squirtle is the best" *the mysterious figure reveals himself. It is Ray, Aspens nephew. "Ray, nice for you to join us." Said Aspen. "Yeah, yeah, touchy feely and all that." Ray said while grabbing his pokeball. "So you're silver eh? I thought you'd be taller. Let me show you how superior Squirtle is in a battle". (Note that charamander is my fave also, it's just tradition to make your rival pick the opposite type)

The two pokemon collide, charamander biting Squirtle, and the Squirtle persistent on taking down it's opponent. They soon loose grasp of each other and end up apart. "Use quick atk!"

The two charge at each other faster than either trainer can process, and before they knew it, the charamander knocks the Squirtle using it's tail , sending it flying tword a wall. The Squirtle grunted, attempted to recover, then fainted..
"what!" Eliamed Ray! That's not possible!

"Congrats on the battle. You will be a mighty fine..." *Phone rings "Oh sorry. Hello. Yes. Yeah... Oh no.. I'll be there as soon as possible." *Hangs up* "sorry silver. I have to go to johto. Why don't you explore the town. I hear there's a gym near by. You might want to train before you challenge them." Aspen begins to leave.

The gym is covered with rocks and precious stones. There is a path way, but several trainers await in the path.
