I think we should have a emera mine where we can dig up fossils and other treasures like it says in the Emera description "Emera Town was founded about 230 years ago. Some of the best Pokémon Trainers in the whole world came here to build a village that could act as their resting place. But they didn't find this place randomly: The people always called this place the "Ground of precious Treasures", which made this land very attractive. They presumed wealthy treasures to be buried right here - and when they came here they actually found some small Emeralds and some Gems. That's why the inhabitants changed the name into "Emera(ld) Town".

Even now people still suppose many Emeralds are buried very deep underground - but no one could ever find any further treasure."
