Money is everything. Everyone slaves over their work to rise up in the ranks or gain a pittance of what society calls a wage. When you look at someone, the first thing to note is looks, obviously, assuming you haven’t seen them do anything, they are just standing there, you didn’t watch them beat someone up, they haven’t helped anyone out, they haven’t spoken or tipped you off with their demeanor. When you have no further evidence or information of who they are, what else is there? The thing is I personally believe that it isn’t looks that are judged harshly but the amount of money that they look like they possess, or at least, once peeling back the layers and one discovers that the person that is the subject of the assumption is indeed a person with a personality. A lot of people tend to stand contrarian to the idea that they do not care about the money. I do too, I cannot say that I am exempt, but when all else fails, that is what people want. People want you to give them things. When things in life are free, a person only does it since they know they will get something back, right? If you have money you are in the favor of the public eye, physical attraction is something that can be gauged as well and equated with money, but these looks can get you money. I know this is a little sporadic, but bear with me. Your looks can bring in money, thus you can “look like you have a lot of money” even if you are wearing rags on a certain day. In that gap to crave and obtain more wealth people go to the extremes on this end. If looks can get money, then use those looks, I believe that this is how people can end up in less savory places or more lascivious tendencies. Even before then, if one enjoys their job, then their looks got them into a situation that allowed them to enjoy or undergo the experience that allowed them to open up a new realm and make a living off of it that they appreciated. Eventually this craving and digging can hit the end and you are thrown away after being deemed useless and unneeded. The cycle only continues and continues. If one stands contrarian, it feels wrong. I know I say that I am, but I feel… wrong? Money does matter, even when I say it doesn’t… everyone wants it? So… is it possible that no one wants you, and never truly will?
