Her parents disappeared when she was a child, so she never knew them. She was raised in an artists family, where she was happy. Studies painting

If sarcastic and calculating:

Her parents were murdered right in front her as a child. She lived by herself and she survival instinct only grew.
(if Harper is in play)
She met her sister in an alley way, when she got into a gang fight.
