Luke defeats the Team Yell grunts in the gym challenge and goes to challenge Piers. Luke sends out his Gyarados as he sends out malamar. Gyarados uses dragon tail while malamar uses psycic. Pretty soon malamar faints and Piers sends out his Obstagoon while Luke brings back Gyarados and sends out Electevire. Electevire uses focus punch, which tko’s Obstagoon. Piers then sends out Skuntank while Luke sends out copperjah. Even though Copperjah is a steel type, he sent him out to use dig, while avoiding skuntank’s attack and doing damage. Copperjah faints though and Luke sends out rayquaza, besting the skuntank. Luke receives the Dark Badge and walks out of the stadium.

Luke comes out of the gym with the badge in his hand. “Your turn Cap’n.” he says then sits down with a soft pretzel and cheese dip.

Cap’n defeats the Grunts with ease as he enters the main battle field. Piers sends out Scrafty, while Cap’n sends out Boltund. Boltund uses Play Rough, which ends Scrafty. Then Piers sends out Malamar, which is also ended by Play Rough, and so is Obstagoon. Piers sends in Skunktank, and Cap’n switches for Sandaconda. One earthquake takes down Skunktank, and Cap’n gets the badge. “I did it!” He said. “Whoever is next can go”
