There were cheers from other students, but Mal was worried. He thought it was still a week away. He isn't prepared. He has to make due with what he has. He begins to mumble to himself all the strategy's to use.

Mal grabs his equipment and heads out the door. at least he remembered to register his gear with the heads of the festival. he might have a chance.
