There's a limited time Mewtwo raid event today and the raid battle is quite hard to overcome, this battle is significantly more challenging than your standard max raid den, especially if people in your group don't understand how to play or make nooby mistakes. If your first instinct is to bring an underleveled or vulnerable pokemon thats just going to get OHKOd...

Please, just don't... Instead here's a few tips.

Mewtwo is level 100 and usually has ICE, FIRE and PSYCHIC moves in its arsenal. It will always have the move Psystrike and can either have flamethrower or blizzard or both. DO NOT IGNORE BASIC TYPE ADVANTAGES. If your pokemon is weak to one of these types, unless it is Zacian/Zamazenta, please pick a different pokemon before readying. I can assure you that nobody cares about your shiny dragapult or hydreigon if you are just going to be a liability to your group, so instead of flexing with a pokemon that is a weak matchup and going to get OHKOd and wasting lives for your team, please alternatively flex with a pokemon that is actually optimal for the raid battle instead. Also, DO NOT WASTE THE DYNAMAX, if you are on the first turn if there are no shields, don't even press it (unless your pokemon is slowest in the group). Yes its cool to be the star of the show, but using the dynamax mechanic wisely is really important here.appvalley tutuapp tweakbox

You are unable to catch Mewtwo, however it drops plenty of rare items on defeat. Among the loot is a chance for a PP Max and Gold Bottle Cap. If you want these items, please think more carefully about the pokemon you decide to bring. Its not my intention to be elitist or disrespectful, however this needs to be said as from experience I have seen countless people making these silly mistakes already that are negatively impacting teams.
