Set two years after the events of Pokémon Sword & Shield, young trainers once again immerse themselves into the world of Pokémon. The Galar Region has gone through some changes: New Gym Leaders emerge, some specializing in new types; the newly crowned regional Champion and former Gym Leader, Bede, reigns supreme of the Galar Region; and the Sinnoh Region's own Fantina has introduced the region to Pokémon Contests.

Countless trainers anticipate the day where they start their journey, meeting up near the first Pokémon Gym in Turffield. The young trainers will soon learn that clawing their way to the top is only one of the challenges they will face as an evil threat, Team Gunk, lurks nearby.

To make a long story short, mostly everyone except members of Team Gunk are going to be just starting their journey. Team Gunk specializes in Poison-types and they originated from Sinnoh.

Also, I know trainers start out at like ten in the games but
let's not make everyone 10 years old orz

♡01 - All PH Rules apply
--- no swearing, etc.
♡02 - Don't make your characters perfect
--- you won't win every battle/dodge every move/etc.
--- also make sure your character(s) have flaws, everyone has them.
♡03 - Pokémon limitations:
--- Your starter/partner Pokémon does not have to be an actual starter Pokémon or Galarian.
--- Your character(s) cannot have a shiny Pokémon or pre-evolved psuedo-legendary as their starter.
--- No legendaries are allowed to be captured without my explicit permission
especially not in the beginning of the RP.
--- A maximum of three Pokémon species and their evolutions are allowed in the RP
(for example: not everyone can have an Eevee or Eeveelution)
--- Movesets shouldn't be overpowered in the beginning. Even if they can learn it by breeding/TM/TR/whatever, there's literally no reason a trainer just starting out should have a Pokemon like Litten at Level 5 knowing Flare Blitz.
♡04 - Try to have proper grammar/spelling
♡05 - Have some content in your posts, PLEASE.

Literally do not mean to sound rude, but perfect characters/godmodding/horriblehorriblehorrible writing.

Topic:

Joey and his Oshawott are battling another user's character, Suzy, and Suzy's Cherubi. Suzy has just ordered her Cherubi to use Magical Leaf, a move that never misses.

Examples of Acceptable Posts

Joey snarls as Suzy ordered her Cherubi to use Magical Leaf. "Oshawott, counter it with Razor Shell!" the trainer ordered the Sea Otter Pokémon. As the colorful array of leaves came racing towards it, Oshawott pulled its scalchop from its stomach, a blue aura forming around it as it slashed through the Grass-type attack.

Unable to react fast enough, Joey watches as Oshawott takes a direct hit from the super-effective move, knocking out the already worn out Water-type in the process. He sighed as he pointed the Dive Ball used to capture his Oshawott towards it, a red beam returning it to the capsule. "Good fight," Joey started, approaching Suzy as she returned her Cherubi, "I should work on my type matchups, huh?"

Joey commands Oshawott to counter it.

Anyways, all the Gyms are still in their respective city, here is the updated list of the Gym Leaders.
There are also Contest Halls in like every town that has a gym stadium except Spikemuth idk I'm lazy.
