He sighed and continued to pick them off. “I guess it is... I’m
just not very good at using it. Besides, once it breaks apart I
can’t use it until I reassemble it.” He explained. Soon all of the
pieces were off of Zero. “I don’t even know why I follow that
girl... Her dad-“ he stopped himself. He didn’t want to get too
personal, as it might be used against him.
“Thanks for the offer, but I’d rather not. There’s something else
it does and I don’t think you want to find out.” He began to put
the rod back together, it was pretty easy since he had done it a
lot before.
“Heh... At least you can hide yours. It’s kinda hard to hide scars
that are on almost every inch of your body. Gave up trying to do
that a long time ago.” He smiled before looking at his rods, then
put it back in his bag
“Sometimes it is... I always get asked if I’m ok, or what happened
to me. I ignore them and walk off, but it just keeps coming...” he
said, a much quieter tone than before. He rubbed his left arm,
where some of his major scars were. “I’m lucky to even be alive...”
“Not going into much detail, not repeating either.” He quietly
added before he leaned against a tree. “I had a pretty rocky life,
barely nothing good has ever happened. I was kicked out of my
family at a young age, all because I looked different. I explored,
fighting for survival until the war came. I met someone that was
kind for once in my life. We ran away from the war, then we both
ended up being captured.” He started to mess with some of the
leaves, becoming more uncomfortable as he explained. “Wouldn’t you
guess it, we got captured by that girl’s dad. He tortured me, put
me through Hell, he did so to my friend. If I wouldn’t cooperate,
he would...” a tear fell from his eye and he quickly wiped his eye.
“He would do the same thing he would’ve done to me, but twice as
bad. Haishi walked in on him doing this, and she gave me enough
time to escape.”
Oh my... That Sounds awful." Zero seemed sad "You went through That
only for being different.. "Zacian sighs a little
