A group of teenagers who Jax recognized were walking around. One of them noticed Jax and said, "Hey look, it's that weakling!" The others turned to where he pointed and saw him as well. The oldest looked at his Machamp and sneered, "Seems like he has himself a Machamp." They moved closer to him, causing Jax to start backing up.

The group noticed the fear in his eyes and started to laugh. One of the teens snickered, "Look at him!" He has a tough Machamp and yet he still can't defend himself!" The oldest looked at the others and said, "Let's take care of this outside of the city, where none of these people can get in the way." Two of the teens nodded and grabbed Jax. The oldest teen's pokemon, Raichu and Primape grabbed Machamp and followed the others out of Motostoke.
