Emma called out Ponyta and got on his back.Leon called out Charizard. He leaped onto its back and called, "Better catch up!" Charizard roared and took off. Ponyta snorted and ran after them, heading to Nessa's gym.

As soon as they arrived, Nessa was already waiting outside her gym. She noticed them and waved, calling, "Hey Leon! You ready?" He smirked and replied, "You bet! Can't wait to see you loose again!" She crossed her arms and huffed. Nessa noticed Emma and grinned. "Oh my gosh, Emma! Hi! How have you been?" She smiled at Nessa and answered, "Pretty well. Doing the usual things I do." They talked for a little before entering the gym.

Emma watched Leon and Nessa battle each other. "And that's how it's done," Leon grinned, defeating Nessa again. She gave him a playful punch and retorted, "Why can't you go easy on me?!" They both laughed, heading back to Emma.

The three sat down and chatted for a little while, Nessa still giving Leon playful punches until he had to return the favor. The three of them laughed as they walked out of the gym.

Todoroki was sitting on a rock near the Ruins of Life, his two Vulpix along with him. He noticed someone flying over, but shook his head and ignored whoever was coming to the Ruins.
