Supposedly, there are other dimensions than ours.
Some of them have more magic, resources, or different creatures. In
this dimension, we have very little magic. This is why magicians
can do simple hat tricks. One person found a way to travel to these
so called dimensions. There are dimensions with magic, mythical
creatures, and even dimensions where there is no laws of physics.
Every living creature in the magic dimensions have magic. Some
magic is better than others. But not all of these dimensions are
good...
“Oh come on... Work please...” She mumbled while fixing her
machine. She recently discovered a ground-breaking discovery. A
discovery that involved dimensions. She wanted to see what other
worlds were like.
Star was laying under a tree, watching the moon rise. “I wish there
was something to do...”
Thana walked around her home patrolling to make sure everything was
ok. Being she is not only a warrior but also a leader, well the
leaders daughter and soon to be leader herself. She heard a crash
in a nearby home and went to check it out. Once she got there it
was her friend who at the time before it blew up was working on
some machine. "Really you have to blew something up like normal?"
She questioned her friend with a smile which she only got a small
playful glare.
“It should be fixed now...” Rayla put her tools away and put the
machine back into place. She pressed the On button and the machine
roared to life. She gasped and put her hands on her mouth. “Oh my
gosh! I- I did it! It’s working!” She ran to check her computer for
the stats, making sure the machine was stable. To her surprise, it
was. She turned the machine off and grabbed her camera. “Oh my
goodness guys... after 396 attempts I did it. The machine is
complete! This discovery will go down in history... Well, I’m
testing it out! Bye!” She saved the video file into her computer
and uploaded it. She turned the machine back on. A blue film of
moving light shine between the frame. She walked in, and found
herself on a hill, with the moon rising.
Star was about to fall asleep when a swirling circle of blue light
appeared. “What’s this weird thing?” She walked towards it and
watched as it moved in a relaxing pattern. It disappeared, then a
few minutes later, it popped up again. This time, someone came
through. “Ahh!” She screamed, but covered her mouth and disappeared
into the shadow of the tree.
Thana shook her head. "Seriously you know my father will most
likely kick you out for your scientific stuff which most think is
nonesemse." She said to her friend. Which her friend only replied
with writing sonething down since she was mute. "Either way why
dont you use that lab like place i found for ya. At least no one
would go there." She said rolling her eyes.
Marley was sat at a bench outside, the normal worlds’ rain
pattering against her hair. She scratched her neck, grumbling
something and pushing her palms against the soaked wood of the
seat, breathing deeply through her nose. She heard a whirring
nearby, in one of the houses behind her she assumed. Her nose
twitched, a window shattering. Her shoulders shot into her back
briefly, her eyes wide and angrily curious. She made her way into
the house, calling through. “Hello? Your window’s broken. Dunno
why. Don’t ask.” She grumbled, seeing a computer emitting a
blinding blue light. She covered her eyes and tensed, her teeth
gritted. The light seemed to fade when she saw herself in a
different place, looking at a place with a hill and bright moon.
(Bump)
Star turned around and saw another person. “Hey, who are you? What
are you doing here?” She asked. Usually there wasn’t many people
around the area.
“I dunno. Your house had a broken window or something. A flashy
light looked at me and sent me here.” The girl lowered her eyebrows
and tapped her foot on the ground annoyedly.
“Well, we are going to be stuck here for a while, so what are we
going to do?” She asked. She didn’t mind the sarcasm, but she was
tired from pulling an all-nighter.
“Really? So we need to find these.. ‘materials’ to get home. Great.
Perfect. Just what I needed.” She seemed thoroughly annoyed,
scratching her head. The girl herself seemed harmless, just
emotively toxic.
“Um... HELLO?!? What about me? You just got here and you want to
leave?” Star said, obviously very annoyed. She didn’t want them to
leave when they just got here.
“Well, the materials are mostly underground... If they are around,
it will only take about 2 hours to set up. Should we start
looking?” She asked.
