Argus pretended like he couldn’t hear her. It was hard, since he was soft towards nice people. But he didn’t want this to be a conversation. It would be weird. Besides, he didn’t know human speech.

Argus could relate. He was originally made by a goddess, Mira’s Friend only repaired him. Once he learned that the goddess disappeared, he didn’t work as well as he had before. He was starting to like this person. She wasn’t aggressive, mean, rude, but she had this pleasant aura to her. He felt better than he had before with her around. Hopefully he can get Mira to trust her.

That statement got Argus thinking. He already knew about Mira’s parentage, but why those were her parents? He didn’t know. Why had Kura trusted them when she barely knew them?

Argus looked at the flower. It reminded him of something, something that the goddess gave him when he was done. He remembered her exact words, “Think of this as a bow tie, a finishing touch for a gift.” Even though it was over 1000 years since he was made. She had told him to protect someone special, someone with a certain aura. She was talking about Mira. The goddess knew about her even before her Mira’s mother was born. “Thank You” Argus said. It sounded more of a “tak o” because of his rusty voice box.

“Goddess of Life” He said. His body was made by Hephaestus (at least the blueprints were, he didn’t know) and the Goddess of Technology, but given life by her. She was the first thing he saw. Mira would be waiting for him, but he liked Kura. Maybe he could bring Mira to her...

Argus was on high alert now. He stood ready to attack and growled. He has seen these things before. They weren’t good. He ran towards were Mira was, not caring about the undead warrior. “Help” he said. “With what? That Kura didn’t do anything, did she?” She followed Argus and saw the figures. She drew her sword but didn’t attack. “Do you know anything about what they are?” She asked Kura. She didn’t know if they were good or bad. But seeing as how they were in a small group and hiding in the trees, it didn’t look good.

“They are definitely machines... Was this someone’s doing?” She asked herself. Bringing her to Relella and to go and capture her? She stepped forward as she continued to walk to the hidden group. “You know them?” Mira said in an aggravated voice. Why should she trust her? If they became close, Kura would die. That’s what always happened. Even if she wanted to trust her, she can’t. She couldn’t have another death on her hands.

Kura felt hurt that she didn’t believe in them, even those had the power of the gods. “Gods and Goddesses are deem evil and must die.” The one automatically said. “You can’t kill celestial beings.” Kura stayed.

“Let’s make it quick” Mira lunged at one of the figures, but it disappeared. She was somehow prepared for that move, so she spun and jumped, just before it reappeared in front of her. She slashed and stabbed, almost getting a hit on one of them. The other one wasn’t as lucky. She slammed her sword into its chest and kicked it down. She stood there, waiting for the next move.

Kura sighed, she wanted to know more about this. Kura leaped out of the way as one started to rush at her, she made a movement like she was cracking a whip, as one appeared striking her opponents.

Argus leaped in to fight. He rushed towards one, trying to grab it with its teeth, but he passed right through them. He was confused for a split second, giving the opponent enough time to knock him into the trees. He landed with a loud CLANG. He couldn’t help at all, except for distracting them. Even that wouldn’t work because they were focused on Mira and Kura.
