She commanded Mai to be her shield. She learned her lesson last time, and made a psychic shield reflecting the light.

Mai felt something was wrong, but even that was fading. She tried breaking free, but could do nothing.

Estari: in a different way *Grabs a crystal, changing the light's effect. Instead of Blinding, it created a large explosion*

Aria and Mai was hit by the blast, Aria losing her focus for a quick second. Mai was able to break free. She grabbed dozens of crystals and flung them at Aria, then fleeing to the meadow.

Aria dodged, grabbing the crystal and stabbed Estari in the back.

Mai was shaken up badly. The more she was controlled, the less she was like herself. She felt more empty.
