Lavender smiled seeing that some kids had already started to come
in. Some with Pokemon and some without. She knew some would feel
resentment towards the ones that had Pokemon which meant she would
need to set rules. Luckily she and the school was prepared for
those with Pokemon. She knew that many more would arrive when
school started fully most likely. She was eager to see where this
would go.
Thana and her twin brother, Magnus, had arrived for school. Both
nervous since they never knew the magical world was real let alone
that the Pokemon she had next to her, a Darkria, which she learned
was a legendary one. She knew her brother didn't have one but hers
helped him when needed. She and her brother waited around in what
looked like a big room with long tables four of them and one on the
other side. There where a few smaller tables, which her and Magnus
sat at.
Magnus was super nervous about this. Considering him and his sister
was completely new to all this magic and Pokemon deal.
Magnus was the first to notice another person. He then looked at
his sister, who was busy reading a book, then back towards the new
person that had entered. He wondered if he should go up to the
person or not. "Go ahead brother. Try to make some friends." He
then heard his sister speak knowing she wasn't looking up from her
book. He then slowly stood up to greet this new person. "Hello." He
said a little timid.
Thana was slightly watching her brother from the corner of her eye
while still reading. She was smart for her age and that didnt help
when she had to help defend her brother at times. But she never
cared for what others thought of her.
(in case you need to re look at your characters and for when new
people join when i decide to let new people in.
"Yea I am new as well as my sister. Would you like to sit with us?"
Magnus asked unaware that August had a Pokemon like his sister. "My
sisters doesnt bite....normally." He said with a slightly awkward
laugh.
Thana saw her brother awkwardly socialize with the new boy. She
help back a small chuckle. Her Darkria was also watching but doesnt
leave her side.
August smiled happy someone reached out to him. “Sure! Thanks for
having me. I”ll make sure to keep an eye out” he winks playfully.
The little caterpie woke up startled from all the noise and sneaked
out of the pocket onto August’s shoulder to get a better view of
the situation.
Magnus chuckled then noticed the Pokemon. "You have one as well?"
He asked with a small sadish smile but hid it with a happy smile.
He then lead August to the table himself and his sister been at
since they arrived. "So how long have you known bout magic and
pokemon?" He asked.
Thana just remained silent as well as her Pokemon. She was allowing
her brother to try to make friends since she may not always be
around to help him.
August looked at Thana, noticing the darkrai floating next to her.
Rubbing his caterpie’s head, who seemed to like it, he turned his
attention back to Magnus. “I haven’t known about magic nor pokemon
long. I just learned about their existence when this little guy
showed up.” His caterpie groaned with happiness. “What about you?
Do you have a pokemon too or is it just your sister?”
"Just my sister has one. And neither of us neither new of the
existence of pokemon or magic." Magnus said with a small smile.
"Hers help me out when i truly need it. So your parents didnt know
anything about this?" He asked hoping he wasnt being so
personal.
Thana was calmly reading and listening. "Brother I dont suggest
bringing up adults." She said in an almost warning tone which her
merely nodded to his sister.
“It’s fine, I don’t mind” he answers Thana. “My parents knew they
existed but they never encountered magic nor pokemon. Imagine their
joy when they found out I had been chosen.” He says with a sigh as
he didnt like his parents expectations. He then turned towards
Thana shook. “Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, Im August. Thanks
for having me” he smiled at the siblings.
Thana put her book down. "Thana and this is my Darkrai. As for you
being here. I guess we need friends aside it being my brother and I
against the world like normal." She said. "And your lucky to have
adults." She said then went back to her book.
Magnus was now slightly embarrassed by what his sister finished her
introduction off at. "Please forgive my sister." He said.
August blinked surprised by what she said. “I guess she doesn’t
like adults”. He then looked around him. “I wonder how long becore
all the students arrive” he absentmindedly petted the caterpie.
« Oh thats right, Magnus what are you aiming to become through
this school? Me personnality, I want to become an aurus, that way I
wouln’t have to obey the rules. » he snickers.
"Um I dont know. I dont know what all there is to this." Magnus
answered honestly. "My main goal as well as my sisters is to leave
the place we are forced to live in." He answered calmly. "And no
she doesnt dislike adult. Its more along the lines like she, we,
never had." He said.
Thana wasnt paying much mind to them while reading.
« Ohh... » August went silent feeling bad for Magnus and
his sister. He swayed gently kinda hoping the teachers were gonna
talk soon to cut the awkwardness coming on. He looked back at
Magnus kinda sorry for him.
Magnus smiled at August though. "Its fine though!" He said knowing
that August would feel sorry for him and his sister.
Thana signed and shook her head.
Lavender was at the moment the only one to enter the Great Hall
since the other teachers were busy. She did notice three students
and two had pokemon. "You three." She said calmly trying to get
their attention.
As August oppened his mouth to respond to Magnus, he heard the
teacher call out to them. His mouth twitched hoping they weren’t
already in trouble five minutes in. His caterpie crawled back into
the chest pocket trembling with anxiety at the sight of so many
people looking in it’s direction.
Lavender walked towards them with her Arcenine next to her. "Hello
children I am Lavender your Headmistress. You may call me Lavender
if your comfortanle if not call me Miss Bane." Lavender said. "This
here is my Arcenine. His name is Flame." She said as Flame sniffed
August first before sniffing the others.
Magnus was shocked seeing a Pokemon a bit bigger than his
sisters.
Thana made no reaction to speak to the headmistress.
The small caterpie tremble in its pockets as August tried to
confort it. « Hello Lavender »he said straightforward. He
then patted the arcanine. « It’s my first time seeing this
sort of pokemon »
Lavender laughed lightly. "I am sure. Your family was aware of
magic and pokemon but never encountered it till you happen to get a
pokemon." She said with a smile. She glanced at Magnus and Thana
before returning her gaze to August. "You excited about this year
and the oppertinuties we can provide you?" She asked.
Magnus was silent during all of this.
Thana and her pokemon wasnt paying atttention not caring.
August felt a little disturb as he didn’t understand how she could
have known about his family knowledge on magic and pokemon.
« Yes I can’t wait » he answered a little harshly as he
didn’t like when people listened in on conversation. He glanced at
the siblings who were not joining the conversation, surprised that
there were people worse than him at authority.
