An Unfading Night

“Cresselia, the Lunar Pokémon. Shining particles are released from Cresselia's wings like a veil, and it is said to represent the crescent moon.”

“Darkrai, the Pitch-Black Pokémon. Legend has it that on a moonless night, Darkrai will lure people to sleep and unleash nightmares upon them.”

After their birth, two families were assigned a special item, which would one day be used to bring back light to the world. The yellow lunar wing from Cresselia and the red lunar wing from Darkrai. Since then, the lunar duo were kept confined to their separate islands.

The morning you were due to begin your journey, a surprise eclipse covers the region in darkness. Whilst eclipses usually last between a few minutes to a few hours, you were delayed a whole day as you waited for the eclipse to pass. Strangely, it did not - total darkness remained.

Professor Rowan calls you to his laboratory in Sandgem Town. He wishes for you, and another trainer, to try to figure out the cause of this phenomenon, together.

I don't know what to comment on this one?? Like- travel around sinnoh, maybe fight cresselia and darkrai, do something magical with the feathers. I also thought about a similar plot for Jirachi but it was literally 'Oh, legend says that if you collect five star pieces, the legendary pokemon jirachi will grant you a wish' - but I can't be that cheap and throw in two pretty much identical plots, right?

A New Generation

“Don’t be going into the mines, it’s dangerous down there.”

You’d basically grown up together, knowing each other since elementary. Although, some would still say they were much closer to some, than others. Nonetheless, despite the differences, you considered your group to be your second family of sorts. The woodland surrounding your small hometown was a popular place for the teens to hang out. Exploring, camping, den building and swimming in the ‘hidden’ lake, were some of the popular activities. However, entering the mines was forbidden. One afternoon, during summer vacation, your group meet at their usual spot.

What wasn’t there a couple of days ago, now sat a trampled nest. Broken twigs and leaves scattered everywhere, but lay, seemingly untouched, were some eggs. These eggs were easily the size of ostrich eggs, and varied in exotic colors.

A red egg, warm to the touch fire, and a light blue egg, which was freezing ice.
A damp, navy blue egg water, and a yellow egg, which mildly shocked anything that came into contact with it thunder.
A green egg, which gave off a sweet aroma life(?), unlike a dark purple egg that smelt like a swamp poison.
A brown egg, with a sandpaper textured shell earth, and a shiny, silver, metallic egg metal.
The final two were a simple black darkness, and a simple white egg light.

Ten eggs, enough for everyone to have one each. There was no way your parents would let you keep them though - no one had no idea what they were. After keeping them a secret for a week, they finally hatch. The creatures stand just a few inches tall. They glance around at their surroundings before fleeing towards the mines. Following them deep inside, you watch as they run into a large ball of bright light, disappearing, only to follow them into a completely different world.

Now standing in a large castle courtyard, the creatures have surrounded you and you’re met by the ‘king’. It is here that you learn how to control these creatures and lead elementalists-in-training into the upcoming war of Xoya.

oH - do you like my originality? Me neither, it's okay. My only comment on this is that I was going to make this a dragon kinda thingy, but I decided against it because it's be boring. So, like, choose your own creature, I guess?

Yo - I enjoy creating usually terrible plots and prompts as much a roleplaying the actual thing.

I typically play as humans (teenage, female), and I’m most comfortable playing as one or two characters, max.
I have like zero experience playing as male characters.
Romance isn’t something I usually roleplay, but I am a-okay playing with fxm and fxf relationships.
Again, I’m unsure about playing male characters, but I’ll try, maybe?
