"Kira, sweetheart?!" A woman shouted from a balcony, "Mom, she's probably at the soccer fields again..." an older voice sounded, the woman let out a sign of relief, "That's probably true, Jasper. Can you make sure that your younger sister isn't getting herself into trouble please?" the woman asked her son, who nodded. "Geez, she can't just be calm if Kira wanted to play soccer at fields. I guess she takes after me and dad." Jasper said, as he walked outside the house.

"A GIRL CAN NOT BEAT US!" A boy cried out loud, "Your dreaming there sister." another boy said, pointing his finger at a girl still kicking the ball around, "My name isn't sister, It's Kira. K-I-R-A" Kira spelled her name, the same boy gasped, "She even knows how to spell her name too" the boy cried, "You don't go to school or something?" she asked them, "Of course we go to school, we go to Emera Elementary school, and you?" the other boy said, "Well it's still the middle of summer, and we moved here in the beginning of the summer, So me and my brother are going to the same school." Kira said with a wide smile.

“There you are Kira!” Jasper said, sliding down the hill and running up to his sister. “Jasper! We are gonna go to school with them, do you think we could play a game?!” Kira said as a wider smile, “Fine, but one game.” Jasper said, Glad I brought both of ours cleats “But I don’t think we need those.” He said to himself and placed his bag near the bench and rushed to his sister.

“There’s no way you two can beat the team, here.” A bit said walking into the field. “Capt? How long have you been standing there?” someone asked him, “Long enough to want to play a game as well.” Their captain said, moving his hat aside to see better. “Let’s make a deal... He looked back at his team then back to the two, If we win, You can’t play for our school, but If you guys win you can try out.” Captain said, “Drew! You can’t be serious.” The boy asked. “I” before he could finish his sentence, Kira kicked the over their heads which made the two a goal.

Meet The team:


“You guys talk to long. LET’S PLAY.” Kira said as she leaped in victory, “Nice Kira.” Jasper said as he ran back a little, “Why you.” Drew hissed, “Okay let’s practice and beat them. There are just two of them.” Drew said waving his pointer finger in the air signaling them to form their tactics. “Shane send it here.” Drew called to his goal keeper, “Don’t call out what you are planning.” Jasper said, as he cut the ball and ran toward the goal, “Sorry but you can’t block us!” Jasper said as he passed the ball and dodge the sliding block, Kira caught the pass and send the ball upwards, leaping to meet the ball in mid-air sending it back into the goal. “Nice Kira!” Jasper shouted, catching his little sister.

“Errr!” Growled Drew, collecting the ball. The Goalkeeper throw it to Drew. “ Let’s back up the Captain, and score.” A boy in a number eight shirt said, runnning forward. Kira ran to catch up, but Jasper was already in front of the group , but kept running to the goal and turned around. Shoot! I’m not a good keeper. Crap! Jasper thought, “Too Easy.” Drew kicked the ball heading to the goal, Kira slide raising her leg to stop the ball, forcing it up into the air, gathering herself for a jump, Jasper leaped for it, kicking it as hard as he could sending it straight to the goal.

“What?!” Everyone said joined by the coach as he was watching from the side. “Ahem! Drew?” The Coach asked returning to his normal state, “Oh, huh (Everyone has already scooted away from him.) Hey there, Coach.” Drew said, rubbing the back of his head, the coach let a weird smile spread across his face, “If my team can’t beat you two, then both of you can join my team, practice starts early tomorrow. Everyone is dismayed besides from Drew and the keeper.

“Drew, I already told you not to play any games, unless it’s nessecary.” Coach said, folding his arms across his chest, “But, our pride was on the line. Why would a girl get to play on our team? She going to mess up?!” Drew asked, Shane out his hand over Drew’s shoulder, “Dude, She didn’t mess up when she was beat you, and plus she kinda cool.” Shane pointed out. “That’s why I accepted her into the team, they’ll replace Gabe and Alec.” Coach said, “And Maybe this year We’ll be in the youth national championship.” He included.

But if I tell where I’m out, she won’t let me go!” Kira differed, knowing it was true. “Her theory is quick girly, “Woman dont play soccer, we sit and drink tea.” They both said together laughing at their mother. “Maybe men should drink tea as well.” A dark voice, “Hi mom.” Jasper said turning around, Kyra Turn around smiling still.
