with having college, and I’m sure most of you have school or some form of work, this rp (if it lifts off) will highly likely be slow.

It’s rather simple - well, not really
but - you are one of twelve elemental keepers.
Every century, new keepers are picked, one per month for whole the year. This is due to each month having its own designated element. These elements are essential for Earth survival.

Keepers are hidden well from humans. They do not receive their powers until the age of sixteen and their ‘mark’ will only glow when in the presence of danger. Each keeper has their own mark, representing their element, on the inside of their wrist which will glow in specific colours. Furthermore, will give off a strong aura, often described as magnetic-like. This aura will pull them towards portals leading to different realms, which are invisible to the human eye. However, the aura also makes them more ‘attractive’ to some particular demons that feed from elemental energy and are more than willing to travel from realms to find their food.

You’re awoken late one night by a
sudden bright, white light. Yet, strangely, the rest of your family
doesn’t seem to have been affected. Despite your efforts trying to
get back to sleep, you’re nagged by a strange sensation which seems
to be wanting to pull you. Before you know it, you’re standing
outside of your school, along with a few others that you’re able to
recognize, but don’t necessarily know.
White light spills from the windows - it’s impossible to see inside. You all decide on taking a bold move and decide to enter to building that’s somehow unlocked. Inside is saturated with magnetic energy, pulling you against your will into the gymnasium where the source of the light and mysterious energy is found. A huge, glowing portal.
A burning sensation suddenly appears on your wrist - your mark appearing for the first time. At the same time, the portal turns into an eerie dark purple, almost black, color. Thin, spindly, shadow-like arms begin reaching out from the portal and before you can run, they latch onto you, pulling you back inside with them.

- Limited characters; Accepting a maximum of 11 others, which leaves me with at least 1
- You may have as many characters as you wish, but be sure you can manage them
- Character’s are around the 16/17 age range
- Try not to be OP; You do not know about your powers before going into the portal
- Use powers which match your element, though I’m aware that there could be some overlapping
- Some examples of powers - all elements might not be there
- Relationships are allowed (with consent from both users), but don’t make it the focus keep it clean
- Mild drama is also allowed between characters (with consent from both users), but nothing too extreme which could derail the rp
- You may reserve elements if you’re certain you’ll be making a character

Appearance:
Haru is of Japenese Origin, making him really fair. He stands 5'11 with a moderate build. He is known for his long hair and his love for Tees and Jeans. He has minor scars on his back and a birthmark spot on his right leg.
Personality:
Haru is not your typical Japanese Individual. He can be rude if he wants to. He can get very protective over his dear ones/things. He trusts people easily and doesn't take time getting comfortable with others. He is usually patient but after a limit, its better off not being with him,

Nickname(s): Khaan (Kaelyn is only used by family members, adults, and most classmates- Could be considered "Formal". Using the nickname Khaan is actually preferred.)
Gender: Female
Appearance: In her younger years, Khaan seemed to only aspire to blend in with the crowd but nowadays, it's rather easy to pick her out.
Her strikingly rust-colored eyes crown over her round face, that is framed by two locks of hair that end just a little above the shoulders and match with the color of her eyes. Rest of the hair is rounded up into a messy bun at the back of Khaan's head and held together by a crimson scrunchie.
Outside of Synagogs, she is practically never seen wearing something else than a flannel or hoodie. Today, she is sporting an open flannel that reveals a simple white short sleeved shirt.
The said flannel bears a Tartan pattern, consisting of white and gray and dominating wine-like red.
Dark blue cargo pants, made out of denim, have a pattern on the right side, that starts at the hip and continues all way up to the knee- Green vine with three fully opened red roses, several bulbs, and small, basil-colored leaves.
She has a body type of an endomorph (Apple/Round shape), with most weight being carried in thighs and in combination with her thick ribcage and wide hips and shoulders, it leads some people to believe that shes overweight- Her body type and height (5'5) make her naturally stocky but she is far away from being considered medically overweight.

Other: Khaan is Jewish- Well, culturally and ethnically she is Ashkenazi but personally leans toward agnosticism.
Her family is nowhere near Orthodox but does follow most of the traditions and holidays- Sometimes with the exception of Khaan's parents, as their careers often get in the way, but considering that their family is quite numerous, it's never too lonely.
Khaans Mother did make a habit of taking Khaan and her sister to Synagogue every second Shabbos morning but ever since Khaan started attending the People Watching Club, the visits are far and few between.
