Team Riolu is a treasure hunting team with a very uncreative name.
That does not discount the skills we have however. The team
currently has 6 members those members are I Quartz the leader who
will despite his weak attack and defense, will try and support my
team by applying status ailments on the enemy. Dr. Volty a mad
Scientist who is an expert at healing status conditions and
utilizing his electric power to the fullest. Guardia a Gardivior
who has the ability to heal health directly and to blast the brains
of any foe she comes across. Ivan whose nose for treasure is
comparable to the love he has for his friends, he would gladly KO
himself with recoil to help his allies get some gold, Quake who is
one of the reasons this team has survived this long thanks to his
ability to summon earthquakes and take hits, and John Spore, a
breloom with scouting abilities that are hard to beat, he can
disable traps, put enemies to sleep and map out the Dungeon before
you finish breakfast. We are not unstoppable but we will try to
take on any foe in our path.
We were exploring a cave Guardia told us about and we decided to
send John up ahead, he was gone for about 45 minutes when we set
out to look for him, at most he usually takes 30 minutes to come
back from a scouting mission. When we found him he was knocked out
and covered in feathers. He happened to wander into a monster house
full of flying types. We had to return home early so the doctor
could treat John's injuries. Let's hope the next dungeon does not
give John a bad time.
John recovered quickly from the air slash spam he received, so we
decided to head out again to what Quake now calls the Birds Nest,,
John has asked us not to call it that but that is what I will refer
to it in this Journal. On our second run through Ivan was able to
sniff out a deposit of Gold bars so at least if things go poorly
again it was not a total loss. I will update you all when this run
is finished.
We made it to the bottom of the Birds Nest and there was a boss
waiting for us, a talonflame who claimed to be the strongest of the
pokemon in the area, he went down in two hits but as Ivan hit the
head smash he used will o wisp. On me and now I am on fire, it does
not hurt to bad but my attacks being even weaker that before
somehow is really annoying. On the bright side Dr. Volty has been
able to put it out so all I have to worry about is the treasure,
which was an egg, not a golden egg, a oversized bird egg, at least
we know what's for breakfast tommarow.
Dr. Volty has gone missing and I wish I could have stopped it. He
and Guardia went to get some berries from the forest but from what
Guardia told.me they were jumped by a gang of some sort, she got
away because the doctor blocked their path. I guess the doctor was
taken by the bandits, so as soon as we are ready we shall get our
friend back.
The pokemon that had kidnapped him are really strong and had almost
destroyed my entire team, however Ivan managed to go straight for
the leader taking them both down in the chaos of the battle, when
the dust had settled everyone was lying on the ground except Me,
Quake and a klefki. We managed to convince the klefki to let the
doctor out of the cage if we promised not to beat it up. We managed
to get Dr. Volty back but everyone is exhausted so no expiditons
for a while it seems.
We have rested for enough time and now lets get out there and hunt
for some Treasure, however I have no idea where we should go first.
Ivan said that There is this mountain that is rumored to be
overflowing with gold so we sent John to check it out, when he got
back he was acting strange but he said that the mountain is safe to
explore, to who ever is reading this, do you think we should go?
So apparently the name John is a very common first name for
Breloom's, why is this important, well the Breloom who came back
was not John Spore but instead a John Shroom. After the mixup he
explained that he was posing for John so we would not worry about
him. Apparently he is fine but he is just dealing with some people
that had claimed to know who he is. We are going with Mr. Shroom
right now but the Doctor doesn't like where this is going.
When we got to the village we were greeted by a bunch of pokemon
who attacked us, Ivan took a hydro pump to the head and Guardia got
OHKOed by a shadow ball, the doctor tried to help her out but he
went down soon after. The fight ended when this Bisharp called them
off. This Bisharp calls himself The Red Knight, and he seemed like
a very serious pokemon. He had a Shiny Gothitelle and a Scolipede
at his side. I was afraid to fight them because the rest of my team
was down so I just asked him what he was doing in this mushroom
village. He said getting a good man back on his side. This was
right before I was knocked out with iron head. I woke up in some
sort of Dark room. I luckily still have my phone so I can document
this event but I have nothing else and I cannot call for help
because of the connection. ARE WE IN THE SKY OR SOMETHING, I hope
the rest of the team is alright, at least John was not involved in
the fight so he will be safe. I hope...
The dark room was some sort of prison cell, but I was able to get
out of the room because of a loose air vent, I ended up in a room
full of weapons and armor. After nabbing a handgun, some light
armor and a short sword I found a window confirming my reason for
bad connection. We are in the sky, My friends are around this
aircraft somewhere, until I find them however this armor will make
a great disguise so I can go around the ship without being caught.
I will call this ship that I am on The Sky Armory, I wonder if
there is a pokemon with that name.
I found a color chart on the wall of a hallway, It started that if
your Armor or clothing givin to you is a certan color this is your
position
Red Armor= Infantry
Blue Armor= Scientists
Green Armor= Scouts
Brown Armor= Mechanics
Yellow Armor=Cannons
Pink Armor= Bombers
Black Armor=Medics
Also It had a list of all the Commanders In the Legion in the next
Sentence...
Remember Troops obey your Superiors, this Includes Mary, Dutch,
Oversight, Conqurerer, Glacia, Willow, John Spore, The Red Knight
of coarse, and me Crusher the defensive boss of this airship.
According to this Sign my Friend John was a commander of this gang
of brutes, I wonder if this is true he did say that he did not
remember what he did before meeting us.
Before I could process what I had just learned I was being screamed
at by a very angry Azumarill, what she was screaming I remember
very clearly
"PINKY ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME YOU HAVE A TROOP BREAFING TO
GET TO I AM LIEUTENANT MARY, SO I AM 90% SURE I RANK ABOVE
YOU!"
I followed her to the briefing room not wanting any more of an
earful, and I am glad I went because I learned a lot of Important
information about what has happened, John was once one of the best
Scouts the leigon had and he was promoted to a Lieutenant, one day
the airship was under attack and he got knocked off, they are now
questioning my friends on what happened to him. I wish I had more
to write down but for now I have to go Mary wants me to listen to
the rest of the briefing.
After mapping out the ship I eventually ran into John Spore, He was
near one of the main cannons on the front of the airship. He looked
troubled so I approached him to see what was going on. John did not
recognize me at first due to the armor but once I took off the
helmet he was very happy to see a familiar face. He did not
entirely know what was going on but he explained what he did know,
this army of pokemon was founded by Red Knight because he was sick
of the unfair laws some pokemon have to follow, while other pokemon
get away with almost everything. Second, at one point John was, not
only was apart of the legion, but one of the best Pokemon they had.
Finally it had been a few months since he lost his memory and
joined Team Riolu because of an urge to fight. John said thanks to
Willow his memory of his former team are starting to come back and
that tomorrow The Red Knight wants to talk with me. I better get
back to where I was being kept a few days ago before he gets mad.
I slept in the dark room I was being held In originally only to be
led out by that same Scolipede that was by the red Knight's side.
He led me to the Captians Quarters so me and The Red Knight could
meet once again. I entered the room and I immediately panicked
because the first thing he said to me was "I can tell you have been
running around my airship" but I calmed down soon after he said
"That is not why I called you here" we introduced ourselves for the
first time after he knocked me out and apparently the Red Knight's
actual name is Butch. He said he only tells his name to people he
views as potential allies and close friends. He gave some insight
into why the Legion was formed, from what he said it seems Butch
hates Injustice and wishes to stop any that he sees, his hatred for
the police force ran by Sheriff Magnizone is understandable,
relying on explorers and bounty hunters to catch criminals is a not
the smartest move that the Sherif has done, and letting Exploration
teams such as Team AWD, who are well known bandits, have caused
trouble for other exploration teams, and have flat out broken the
law. Run around without even putting out a bounty on thier heads is
enraging to him. After about 2 hours of this ranting he sat down
and apologized for wasting this much time. He said that the real
reason he brought me here was to ask me for an alliance. I said
this to him "I accept this alliance if you promise not to destroy
any towns with the weaponry on this ship, and only act on your need
for justice one you have some more proof of the current Sheriff's
incompatance, and please let me and my friends off this ship" he
agreed to the first two requests but the third one he replied with
this statement "I ask that you and your friends stay on this
airship until John makes up his mind on whether he should rejoin
the legion or stay with your team with my blessing. Your friends
have said that that they would be fine with staying on this ship
for a while if you are fine with it Quartz." I decided to agree to
this offer, luckily we do not have to stay in jail cells anymore
and he even let me keep the weapons I took out of the arsenal.
I guess Butch is not such a bad pokemon after all, he is still a
very serious pokemon though.
After I explored the airship for a while I met up with Dr.Volty, he
was given permission to use the laboratory as long as nothing blew
up. When I reached the lab I saw the Doctor working with a strange
looking beam, I asked what he was doing only for the Machine to
accidentally go off and I got shot in the face, but I dd not feel
any pain. Soon after I was shot however my shadow popped out of the
ground and fell over. The doctor apologized for shooting me and
explained that this machine, called the shadow beam can materialize
stone satues from a object or living thing as long as they have a
shadow. He called it the Shadow Beam. I said to him "it is a
creative idea but what use would it have". He just thought making
stone from shadows would be fun and if he makes the beam portable,
we essentially have a free, hard hitting, projectile, as long as
someone who can throw it, like Ivan, Quake or Guardia, Is still
standing. After that meeting with the doctor I agreed to bring the
rest of the team to the lab so once we are off the ship we can go
find some treasure. I found Ivan soon after this chat with the
doctor and he was carrying a very dangerous looking trident. I
asked what it was for and his exact words were "it shoots
fireballs, it looked powerful, it is powerful, and having somthing
to charge with would be amazing so I decided to take The Red
Knight's offer and take a weapon from the arsenal" on the bright
side I do not think anyone will mess with Ivan any time soon.
I ran into Guardia and Quake in a recreational room on the second
floor of the airship. They were wrapping some sort of present.
Quake told me that Guardia found an item that the doctor would love
so she decided to gift it to him. He explained that the item was a
held item that will cut one attack stat in half in exchange for
rasing the other attack stat similar to the huge power ability.
However it will only do the stat buff to the weaker stat and the
stronger stat will remain weakened until the item is removed. So if
the doctor used this item he could actually run a physical attack
set. Dr. Volty has expressed interest in using Thunder Punch and
Brutal Swing if he could race his attack high enough. Guardia calls
the item the Boosted Bandana. I know the doctor would love this
item and he would even try and replicate the items stat boosting
affects for other items. Maybe we could apply other stat buffs to
these items, like a defense boosting choise specs. I wonder if John
would want his lucky focus sash to give him a stat boost. If he
decides to stay with Team Riolu.
I took Guardia and Quake to the lab Dr. Volty and Ivan were staying
in and when we entered the lab my team was called to Butch's
Quarters. When we arrived John was also in the office with him.
Ivan asked "has John made a decision." In response Butch said "that
is correct Quartz's friend." John decided that he will be remaining
as a member of Team Riolu. John also said that Butch had given him
a device that allows him to call the Sky Armory at any time if we
need the help from the legion. If we need help or get into trouble
The Red Knight and his troops will help us out without hesitation.
After this agreement, for the first time in Arceus knows how long,
we went home with all 6 of us intact. Ivan took his new fire
trident and put in his room before making dinner. Guardia gave her
gift to Dr. Volty and I can tell he is going to be up all night
tinkering with his new item. Quake decided to see what we missed in
town while we were away for about a week, and John went upstairs to
take a short nap, to rest from the excitement that has been
happening. I will have to write about the nearby town, the place is
named Everchange Village because of the variety of environments in
the area around the place.
Near my team's home is a small town, it gets a ton of visitors but
the amount of pokemon that live by the town is only about 100-200
pokemon in comparison to the massive population of Omastar City
which has around 2000 pokemon at least, what makes this place
notable is the environment and the many friends my team has in the
village. The variety of places in the village is impressive it
includes a river to the east a nearby desert west of the village, a
snowy mountain in the north, and a forest where Team Riolu lives to
the south. The reason for the really bizarre environment is mostly
unknown but it is a common theory that the same mysterious energy
that creates mystery dungeons, has blessed this area with a variety
of places to explore and treasure to be found. That is why this
small town of Everchange Village gets a lot of visitors, people
want to see what kinds of treasure can be found here, however not
many newer explorers stick around for long because of how
potentially dangerous these dungeons are. Ony a few teams actually
live this close to the village, the ones that come to mind
immediately are my team, a rival team that has given us a lot of
trouble Team Royal, and a few othe smaller teams. I wish I could
write about team royal and the pokemon in Everchange Village, but
maybe some other time.
The pokemon of Everchange Village are an interesting bunch but they
are still our friends. Some notable pokemon in the village include
Lily, King, the engineers that live by the harbor, and the mayor of
the village who is a really old Tropius, his name is Musa I
remember correctly. Lily Is the granddaughter of they mayor, she is
a Liligant who runs the cafe and she is always super friendly, her
skill in battle is also quite impressive. King is a Serperior who
essentially functions as the gatekeeper for the village, he is very
serious when it comes to his job, but he seems to care about his
daughter, Lilac and he would immediately stop what his is doing to
help her out. The Engineers include an Empoleon named Napoleon IV,
a Samurott named Valter, and a Blastoise that everyone just calls
the Cannoner. Finally their is Musa, he has been around for a very
long time and he is the best source of information a pokemon can ge
about Everchange Village. These are just a few of the pokemon that
live in the village and many there are many more pokemon that I
could go into detailed about, maybe I could write about Team Royal
in a tomorows entry, we haven't been exploring since we got back
and I can just write in my Journal about pokemon I have met before
I started keeping a Diary.
Whenever we go on expiditons there is a chance that we run into a
group of pokemon that have given us a lot of trouble. They call
themselves Team Royal, they have 6 members and our teams are
constantly butting heads, first the leader Majasty is a Tsareena,
she somehow knows what my team is doing at all times and her kicks
can knock out anyone in her way, a Salazzle who is simply known as
Dazzle, has some powerful venom that can melt almost any surface
even heal bell is barely enough to heal the status. Marina is a
Primarina and someone who we thought was an ally when really she
led us into a trap when we met her. I never got the names of the 3
other members but they are a Luxray, a Goodra, and a Ninetales. The
Luxray appears to be the scout of the team but she seems to be able
to brutalize her foes, if it wasn't for Quake we would probably not
be able to take her on, the Goodra is probably the member who has
given us the least trouble, if she is by herself the goodra will
run instead of fighting. Finally the Ninetales is the medic for
Team Royal, she is our top priority when we fight Them. I will try
and get the names for Luxry Goodra and Ninetales but probably not
that soon, unless we run into Team Royal on the expedition that we
are doing tommarow. John just finished mapping out the dungeon that
we are going to, it is a pyramid that is rumored to have an item
that can bring our stats to a level comparable to Mega Rayquaza. We
will call this place the Supercharged Pyramid.
