It was in the morning, and Momo was eating breakfast with her mother. She and Silver had the house to themselves, as the boys had gone on a trip and would not be back for a while. Momo had asked Silver if her cousin, Chiffon, could come over after breakfast, to which her mother said yes.


The morning was also quiet at Chiffon's house. Tikaia, the Leafeon mother, was drawing in the living room. She sent the family pet, Zeus the shiny Crobat, into Chiffon's room to wake him up. The Leafeon got up to kiss her wife, Lani, goodbye as the Sylveon walked out the door for a trip of her own.

"Hey kiddo. There's cereal. Lani and her pancake/waffle-making skills will have to wait until she gets home. Did Zeus give you a hard time?" Tikaia looked up from her drawing with a smile.

Zeus flies over to his perch and eats a Pecha Berry stuck on a pole.

"She's going on a trip with some friends for an undecided amount of time." Tikaia finishes her drawing. "Which is why you're going to stay at Momo's house for as long as you want. As you know, Momo and Silver are also alone at their house. You can even start that Rescue Team we've been talking about. What do you say?"
