Is there a clock around? Probably not but Kale would give anything to know what time it is- Well, not anything. He wouldn't give out his cape, any content of the bag next to him (His parents would be disappointed if he didn't bring everything back home), Sketchbook and watercolors and... well, that's all he really has.
Speaking of Sketchbook, he probably shouldn't call it a sketchbook- As it's laid out in front of him, it's really apparent that he uses an actual pen at the bare minimum.
After some time, he flips over to a blank page, holding a paintbrush in paws with help of a tape- Whitch others would consider painful, as sooner or later he will have to rip it off but he's used to it. Well, he lived through worse things at least.

It was like his head automatically tuned out all commotion around him and if he didn't look up from his spot behind the table from time to time, he would probably forget that he actually exists in space and time. Others would likely forget too. It wasn't soo hard- He's just what he is after all.

Tikaia goes for a short walk, and when she comes back, she spots Kale. She runs over to him, trying to get her drawing of him out of her bag to hand it to him. She doesn't pull it out correctly, and a tearing sound can be heard. After a moment of silence, she gets it out, without ripping it more, and starts to cry. The drawing is split nearly in two.

It takes a second longer than is appropriate for Kale to notice Tikaias presence but when he looks up from his sketchbook the only thing he sees a paper that probably wasn't supposed to be near in two pieces and hanging on by the mere power of will that not-sentient objects probably don't have but to Kale, it seems fitting.
And then he looks Tikaia in the eyes. Its a mistake the second it happens because Cobalion, she's crying and Kale wants to reach out and do anything to help her but he just stares, stares and stares with those ugly hazel eyes of his.
"Ti-Tikaia? Is everyth-No, No, It's obviously isn't. I'm sorry." He reaches out in an attempt to put his paw on her shoulder but lets it fall down as a second thought. Personal space, Personal space- He cant even comfort a crying person who he probably considers a friend. Does he? No time to think about that. "Do-Do you want to talk? I-Im sorry, I'm bad at this."

She looks at him, tears streaming down her face. "It w-was a g-gift for you... I've b-been saving it until you w-were okay, a-and I... And I..." She gives the ripped paper to him. It was surprisingly well-drawn, since it was a gift. "I ruined it..."

This wasn't good. At all. Kale could feel tears at the edge of his vision that he desperately tries to blink away because of course when he sees someone crying this will be his first reaction-
And so, he stops looking at her because he cant let her see this, he already displayed just how much weak he is and this probably wouldn't hurt his already destroyed reputation, he won't take any chances. Instead, he focuses all his attention on the drawing that was handed to him. "It-It looks great!" Not helping.
"And... It isn't ruined?" He says, swiftly tearing away the brush from his hands without flinching and reaches for the rest of the tape that sits at the edge of the table. It almost falls out of his paws whitch are shaking but he does have to finish this because she doesn't want to see her cry. If he could take all that pain away he would- But it isn't soo easy. He knows that it isn't like turning off an switch. But he will try anyway because really, what else does he have left?

And so, he tapes the two pieces together with the transparent tape, being as careful as he can with his shaking paws. "Th-There! You see, I think its lovely! So-Sometimes you love something for things others hate and i... Dont think this looks bad? Its still great!"

She looks at the taped-up drawing and sniffs. "It's... You fixed it? You like it?" She wipes the tears from her eyes and smiles. "Thank you."

She wants to hug him, but doesn't know if he'll mind or not.

Glacia got out her drawing and looked at it for a couple of minutes. Then she got out her letter and examined it.
Then glacia put all her things inside her bag and turned then she saw kale, shaifty and tikaia so she walked towards them and said, "what's going on?".
