Snow glanced at Kimberly and nodded. He smiled faintly and slowly and cautiously poured the batter into the pan. "You know, Frost was wrong." He said suddenly as an old memory from his past resurfaced in his mind.

"He said when I was only a year older than Austin, that I would amount to nothing. That I was born to steal and hurt, and I'd die that way too." Snow trailed off quietly. "He said society wouldn't accept me. Look at me now though." He whispered and grabbed a spatula to flip the pancake. "I have an amazing job, with a wonderful wife who accepts me for who I am and amazing children." He whispered gently. "I couldn't ask for anything better to happen to me."

Kimberly smiled and sighed slightly in relief. “I don’t understand how you were unlucky enough to be his son. Sorry, but it’s true. You are so strong and beautiful and incredible and amazing.” She whispered and kissed his cheek. “And look. You’re alreayd great at flipping pancakes.”

Snow smiled at Kimberly and touched his cheek for a moment. He noticed the sigh of relief and raised an eyebrow quizzingly. "Hey I am." He said instead of asking the question, but he secretly hoped Kimberly would explain why she sighed.

Snow blinked and nodded as if in understanding. "Kimmy, that part of my life is over. The team rocket grunt who I was died when I was hit by that Oblivion wing. Frost is dead now and there's nothing you have to worry about now." He whispered gently, his eyes glazed over for a moment when he mentioned Frost's death. The memory of him killing his father still haunted him.

Snow nodded and sighed as he gently held Kimberly's hand. He blinked and sighed as he noticed the pancake on the stove burnt. He mumbled something quietly under his breath and threw the pancake out before looking back at Kimberly. "I-I know. It's just that...I never killed anyone before. F-Frost was the only person I killed and it was my dad." He choked out and closed his eyes.

Kimberly turns the stove off and slowly walked him over to the couch. She sits and sets him slightly atop and in front of her, running a hand though his hair. “Love. That’s over now. It’s all over.” She whispered.

Snow nodded and shivered slightly. "I-I know." He whispered quietly and wrapped his arms around her. "But it still gives me nightmares. The events of that day just scared me." He whispered quietly. "I mean, I know he was a criminal, and he was about to kill Lion, b-but I never thought I had to kill him." He whispered quietly.

Kimberly gently moved his head onto her shoulder and tightly put a hand on the back of his head. “I’ll be here for you when you have nightmares. When you’re scared or upset or something orri d or guilty, I’ll be here for you. Always and foreve. You’re my husband and my best friend, and I want to take care of you and make sure you’re okay.”

Snow nodded and sobbed into her shoulder. "Okay." He whispered softly and sighed in partial relief. "We'll always take care of each other. Because you're my best friend and wife. I love you." He said quietly.
