Warriors: Cold Fire
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Warriors: Cold FireHis eyes shot open. He was in camp. That was right, right? Something seemed off, though. He was the only cat here. Fire raged around him, but it gave no injury. It felt cold somehow. He could hear voices chanting in his ears, but the words could not be made out. The tomcat knew this was vision. He needed to inform his leader ASAP. GushingClan is in danger.

Lavenderheart was grooming herself right outside of the Warriors Den. It was dawn, and the she-cat was trying to fix her pelt before she got sent on patrol with her apprentice. She noticed Fjordpaw padding to the Medicine Den and wondered what that was about. She decided to check on her little brother. She followed him in, only to see Duskwhisker laying on the ground. His nest was in shambles. His claws were unsheathed and he appeared to be clawing at the ground. Was he having a vision? Should she tell Riverstar?

Something was wrong. They didn't know what, but something was wrong. Yes, Riverstar was mocked for being overly-cautious but his cautiousness kept the clan safe. The leader would have to consult their deputy and medicine cat about suspicious activity. They started padding towards the medicine cat's den, tail twitching nervously.

Rookwing was exhausted. She got too caught up in the thrill of the hunt and went to sleep late. The multi-colored shecat nodded off (even face planting into the ground a couple times) as she guarded the entrance of the camp. Guard duty was a convenient way to catch some sleep but Riverstar would have her hide if she got caught. Last time she did that she was forced to stay in the camp for a whole month! Before she could nod off again she spotted a familiar figure approaching. "Fell asleep outside of the camp again? You should be more careful." The warrior greeted her, hoping that the calico wouldn't point out the hypocrisy in her statement.

Songbird and Cloverspots were sharing tongues in the queens' den, taking the opportunity to catch their breath while their kits were distracted. Cloverspots didn't mind spending a lot of time with his kits, but it got tiring sometimes. Songbird on the other hand...you can't exactly blame her. "I think i'm going to continue being a queen after Wrenkit becomes an apprentice." She murmured to the tom, who cocked his head at her. "Don't you hate kits though?" "Not all of 'em." And just like that, the conversation ended. He didn't like to pry, but he kinda figured why she was the way she was. Cloverspots just wished she didn't blame her kit.
