The wail of an injured Pokemon rings through the woods. Time to survive.

Username: Cheesyburgar
Character Name: Pier
Gender: Female
Age (in human terms): 15
Pokemon/Fusion: Bulbasaur *shiny*
Image/Description:
Type(s): Grass/Poison
Moves: Giga Drain, Toxic, Venoshock, Hidden Power (Rock)
Personality: She is cautious towards those she is unfamiliar with at first, but with time can be more social. Naturally, she can be a pretty casual pokemon who just says what she wants, and is pretty laid back. She does not take getting threatened/challenged to a battle lightly though, and will fight to defend herself and those she considers worth protecting.
Other: She briefly had a trainer, being one of many eggs hatched by the trainer and sure, she was shiny, but was not the gender the trainer wanted, so she got pitched and left to fend for herself like her many brothers and sisters. Out in the wild, her main challenge is fighting to protect herself and to keep from getting captured by trainers that she accidentally strays too close towards. Sure, it helped her learn how to battle and get strong, but made it hard for her to learn how to relax and feel safe in the already rugged wilds.

The Breloom struck her again with Sky Uppercut. Saffron shouted in pain, hoping someone would hear her. She had no chance against a fighting type. 'Help!' she shouted.

The shiny Bulbasaur was walking through the forest, trying her best to keep a low profile for the sake of avoiding potential trainers. However, hearing a cry for help, she raised her ears and head, looking in the direction of the cry. Despite her initial hesitance, she runs off in the direction of the cries. Arriving at the scene, she notices the Breloom attacking a pokemon she had never seen before, and decides to help. Honed in onto the Breloom, she shoots a Toxic attack from her bulb at the grass/fighting type.

Saffron, upon seeing her rescuer, gains a burst of willpower and struggled to her feet. She limps over to a bush and sinks down behind it as cover. Recovering some of her energy, she sends out a weak Vine Whip. It didn't do much, but she wasn't going to let the other Pokemon take all the credit.

With the strange pokemon in the bushes and having taken cover, Pier moves in front of the bush to further keep the Breloom back. Her eyes glow a bright purple, not hesitating to follow up her last attack with a Venoshock aimed at the Breloom. That move was the best she had against the grass/fighting type, so that is what she'd use.

Saffron watched exhaustedly. She wished she could fight too. She felt weak lying on the sidelines, but then, she supposed she was. At least, at the moment.

It would take a few shocks against the Breloom, but after the third hit, the Breloom turned and ran off, leaving the scene while letting out a strange cry of sorts. Pier flicked an ear at the noise, ready to pay no mind to it, however...

"Breloom?? What happened?" A human voice had rang, Pier tensing up hearing this.

Knowing a trainer would be coming soon, Pier looks to the pokemon she could not identify. "Hurry, we need to get out of here before that trainer sees us!" She told the fusion, starting to run off, figuring she'd either follow, or go her own direction.

Saffron blinked, then shook her head to clear it. She struggled to her feet and ran as fast as she could after the Bulbasaur, pain ringing out in her body with each step she took. She couldn't be caught by a human. She wouldn't. Saffron put on a burst of speed and sprinted, this time with the pain masked with adrenaline and determination.

Pier continued to run for a good while, wanting to get as much distance from the overall area and herself as possible. Seeing a hollowed out log laying behind a bush, Pier figured that'd be a decent place to hide at for now and looks to the pokemon following behind her, standing beside the entrance of the log. "Quickly, in there." She said, planning to let the other pokemon be the one completely hidden between the bush and the Bulbasaurs body once she'd go in with her. Granted, the log was long and big enough for the both of them, and it wasn't like Pier would literally be sticking out of it, but if a flashlight got shined in, of course, they'd be able to see her inside.

Saffron smiled wearily and thanked the other Pokemon, acknowledging the risk they were taking for her. She was too tired and weak to argue with anyone. She practically fell into the log and shuffled as far back as it would allow. She was starting to feel dizzy, but she fought to stay conscious, knowing if she was unconscious and they were found, she'd have no chance.

Once the other pokemon got in, the Bulbasaur goes in with her, going in as deep as she could without being smack dab in the other pokemons grill. She lays down once in, her back facing the exit so she can lay facing the other pokemon. "Are you going to be ok?" Pier asked the other pokemon, looking her over while things seemed calm for now to check for serious injuries.

Saffron managed another smile. 'I'll be ok. Nothing some rest and berries can't fix. Thanks for helping me back there. I would've gotten caught if it weren't for you. I owe you one. My name's Saffron. Nice to meet you.' As she spoke, she took care to stay alert, listening out for the trainer and their Pokemon.

"The berries will have to wait until we're for sure in the clear...I can try to scout for some than while you rest." The bulbasaur told the pokemon, nodding at the introduction, resting her chin onto her front limbs. "My name is Pier...I got to ask though...what kind of pokemon are you? I've never seen anything like you before...well....pokemon with similar traits...but still."

'I'm a Bellossom and Amaura fusion. I don't know how it happened. I don't even know who my parents are. I'm guessing at least one of them was either from the Bellossom line or the Amaura line. I don't think Bellossom and Amaura can breed so I don't think it was both. I just hatched like this.'

Pier listened on, blinking at the explanation. "That...is weird...never heard of such a thing too, but, unique. Guess that explains why the Breloom attacked you...since something like yourself probably doesn't exist and is highly sought after by trainers." Pier was still trying to put the logics in place on that, but at least she seemed to accept the pokemon for what she was and wasn't disgusted/horrified.

Saffron relaxed a bit, seeing their reaction. Some people were just straight up repulsed and they wouldn’t bother hide it. ‘Yeah, The little guy must have thought there would be wittle tweaty for him if he caught me for his trainer.’ she said, putting on a mocking baby voice. ‘Maybe I’ll find out one day, but for now I’m happy like this.’

The bulbasaur couldn't help but laugh at that comment, clearing her throat and regaining composure afterwards. "Yeah, hopefully someday you'll figure it out." She'd tell the fusion pokemon. "So....safe to assume you've been living out in the wilds your whole life?"

'Yep. Been on the run from trainers most of the time. You?' Saffron smiled. She was beginning to warm up to this Bulbasaur.

( All good, no worries~ )

"Ah, I see." Pier nods at that. "I am about the same, I mean...was hatched at a daycare during the beginning of my life, but released for not being a male, so eh, close enough to starting out as a wild pokemon." She wasn't 100% sure thinking about it wether or not it truly did count, but decided to not fret too hard over it.
