I got a compatible pair in the daycare and it says they "seem to be getting along" they've ben in the daycare all day with the money in the account but theres no egg after like 6 hours. Any advice?

Seem to be getting along isn’t the highest compatibility and even if it were it could still take a while for a pair to produce eggs.

You would want to get a pair that says “The two seem to match perfectly.”
And you would also like to try to get increased breeding chance with items (Flutes from the Item Shop), Premium Membership and the chance from the Fountain.

Try attaching everstones to both of them :) It boosts the breeding chance slightly I think, along with the methods Grande suggested.
