Someone answered this question on my feed, but I'm still a little confused. On the pokéradar page, it says "You have to buy new batteries as soon as your PokéRadar resets. Also the chain resets after you've hatched your first Shiny." I know it resets every time I break the chain, but does it
a) reset every time I breed the first shiny for a new species
or
b) reset every time I breed any shiny, no matter how many I have of the species
or
c) reset only for the first shiny I ever breed?

Note that I don't have premium membership, if that changes anything. Thank you!

Your Pokeradar will reset as soon as you found shiny egg from pokemons you bred.
(e.g: if you breeding Snivy, and got shiny snivy from egg, pokeradar will reset)

Also, if you hatching egg different species with pokemon that you bred (Hatching egg from lab adopt, or tall grass) your pokeradar will reset too.
