Bourkey ordered 113 fighting gems, and he was offline at that time however I did set up the gem exchange and another user had taken all my fighting gems and I only got 1 electric gem.

So I suggest something like this;

You type in the users name in a small box once you created the gem Exchange, then that user will receive a notification and so he can see that and can exchange easily without anyone seeing my gem exchange.

In the Misc. Settings you can block notifications from these personal Gem Exchanges but there will be a place where it says 'Personal Exchanges' and you will see from there who wants to Trade with you gems.

There's a simple way around it if you want to prevent unbalanced exchanges from being snatched away: Let the one providing the less valuable side of the trade set it up. In the given example, nobody but you would pay 113 fighting gems to get one electric gem, while it can look pretty tempting the other way around. (Common sense should prevent people from taking random "too good to be true" offers, but well.) Or if the value is roughly equal, decide on a time when both are online to minimize the risk.

Trading here, especially when things are meant for one specific user, can be kind of troublesome, but I don't think introducing a "personal" option to each single trading feature (gems, pokémon, items) is the solution. If it was a "trade a mix of various things with a certain other user" feature, I'd support, but looking at the bigger picture, this seems to complicate things more than it'd help.
