"White Roses is the official name because they are all native-born Canadie, so they all speak Traditional - English as Earth-humans call it - as their first language. The Faded Lyrics are from Pallein, so their name is in Palpenn, and it has to be translated for Traditionalists." Mauve replied. "Sarcasm's favorite thing to do is whine about all of the misinterpreted titles and correct non-natives grammar." They shrugged in reply to her words, but didn't deny it.

Mallory nodded. «Actually, I think I'm good to go back now,» he said quietly and looked to his feet. He didn't expect someone to relate to him and the way he felt, especially not in this world.
I'm just a stranger in a strange land, he thought to himself, running out of time. After a few seconds of silence, he looked back up, wearing a fainted smile on his face. «We better go.»

Tristan crossed his arms. «That's strange,» he smirked, «and at the same time oddly familiar.» For a moment, he felt as if he was going to get along well with Sarcasm. What Mauve said about them was the exact thing his best friend in school was doing when they had some German exchange students in their class.

Skylar hummed in approval "That is an admirable goal. Keep doing that, Sarcasm. One grammatical mistake can offend many people and nobody wants to see that unfold." Skylar had a... personal experience with that. French is very dangerous language. It's easy to make mistakes that are worth beheading. "I don't have any further questions. Thank you for your answers and for being patient with me. I presume this is all basic knowledge in your world and explaining it might be a little bit frustrating." She wasn't smiling but her satisfied expression was indicating that she truly checked off everything on the list inside her head. "Tristan, Do you have anything to add?" Her tone didn't make it clear if she was genuinely interested in what he has to say or if she is just being polite.

"Let's hope there is still a place to return to- I didn't hear any explosions but you never know with Team Eyeliner. All of them are like cats, you leave them alone for a moment and they will empty the whole fridge. Or start a shouting match in that typical family kind of way." Matt mirrored Mallory's smile without even thinking. Making somebody smile is what truly makes him feel alive and he didn't wish for anything else... Despite Matthews thankfulness, there is still something startling about the fact that he can smile. That he is still here. Sometimes, Matt lets himself dwell on the thought of 'What if this spell-something comes with a time limit?' for a little bit too long. But that's not productive thinking and at the end of the day, if his new life has a deadline then he surely isn't going to spend that priceless time sulking. Inevitable Fate be damned.

Sarcasm just muttered something in response. Mauve shrugged at Skylar's words, but smiled a little. "I don't mind. If any more questions do come up, I'm happy to answer them."

"Can we start the tour before something inevitably goes wrong?" Ten said, glancing at the clock. "I have a meeting with Tallin at seven to discuss training times, an advanced mixed breed biology paper due tomorrow that I haven't even started, and I have to look into the disturbances caused by the shift."

"Do you think Mals will be coming back?" Sarcasm asked, suddenly seeming less bored. Their entire face lighted up with a mixture of hope and happiness, making them look more angelic. If that was even possible. Ten shrugged, however, and their face fell.

"I'm sure he - or she, or they - will show up. They're just busy." Mauve reassured them. They shruged in response, but looked a little less disappointed. "For now, let's get this tour started. Follow me, please." She headed out the door, Ten following close behind and muttering to himself about something or other. The hallway had the structure of a normal school hall - large bricks coated in paint and doors lining the walls - but there was much more color and personality than usual. Murals were splashed across the walls, depicting all sorts of animals. There were humanoid creatures with glowing fur, dog-like figures sporting several pairs of eyes, and birds with feathers made out of pure gold. Each picture had a little bit of tiny text scrawled neatly text to a body part, like a signature, but with the species name instead. Each door was made out of a different material; some metal, some varying shades of wood, and one that seemed to be made out of perfectly sculpted vines. A little less than a dozen students were outside of the classrooms. Not all of them were entirely human in appearance - one had two pairs of pupiless eyes, and one had skin a light shade of blue - but all of them weren't the slightest bit surprised by the weirdness surrounding them.
