Last night’s blizzard had, undoubtedly, been the worst in the past few months. It had been so bad that it had caused the whole village to drop everything they were doing and to retreat to the safety of their homes. Living in an area like Silversnow Keep, snowstorms and blizzards are to be expected. There may be the odd avalanche every other year, but they’re still really rare. Being around for centuries, you could say the people here have adapted somewhat to the cold.

This particular blizzard seemed normal, at first. Howling from the evening into to the late hours in the night, where it finally started to calm down. With a storm like this, you’d expect to have about a foot or more of snow. Weirdly, there was barely anything the morning after, as if Silversnow didn’t even have the slightest bit of snowfall.

Kiara-Zia Ianua was the only child of the Ianua family, living with both her parents. They were a very close-knit family but she woke up this particular morning, fairly concerned by the fact that she hadn’t been woken up by her parents like normal. So, instead, she went to wake them up. She failed to, however. Keeping calm, she decided that her best bet for help would be to seek the village elder. He was very old, but wise and knew pretty much everything from myths to ancient herbal remedies. She would be able to find him at his home in the village centre, not too far from his library.

Daisy was scared and cold to the bone.she woke up,shivering heavily. Her parents were out hunting last night as it was the last thing she remebered.....
She also had a younger 7 year old brother named Drake. She was extremely worried for her younger brother since he slept in a room across her room (would it be ok that I can include drake in this or...)
She grabbed her blanket and slowly walked to his room, telling her self to hurry up....

Alex had been hunting wolves the night prior and now he was completely tired. He could probably make some money of the wolves' carcasses. While walking around, Alex met two people while hunting... "Hello... I am hunting wolves... and you? ...Cool... I will see you guys later." Alex walked away.

Hayden was done with it- Javier, his father, was half an hour late. It's not like Hayden wasn't grateful for it- He spent the time re-reading his Favorite Novel so he didn't really minded... But Javier always stormed into his room to wake him up, always at the same time. Hayden admired him for that, he could barely keep his sleep schedule together...
Just now, Hayden realized that it's unusually cold... He was far too invested in the story to notice.
He was still in the clothes from yesterday and he felt like a wreck. Not like he isn't one.
This house was still unfamiliar to him but he knew that Javier should be on the same floor, third door in the hall... Was it normal for kids to call parents by their names? Most likely not but the word Father alone felt weird on his tongue... Why did he decided to contact Hayden just now? And then book tickets so he can spend two weeks trapped in this village?

Evelyn sat on the couch, blankets shrouding her. She had on three wool blankets and a comforter, and only her face could be seen. She glanced around the room, stiffening as she heard the door open. Her big brother, Erich, entered. He walked past her without looking at her. He then froze, spinning on his heel to look at her. He stared at her for a few seconds before laughing. "Oh my god..." He laughed, shaking his head as he took gasping breaths. Evelyn blushed, puffing out her cheeks.

"Shut up..." She hissed softly, burrowing deeper into the blanket pile. Erich almost collapsed from laughing so hard, wheezing as he breathed. Evelyn shifted, her mouth disappearing under the blanket. Erich looked at her again, hit with another wave of laughter. Evelyn mumbled somethin incoherent, muffled by the immense amount of blankets.

Marian lay shivering in a small snow clump. The blizzard last night was terrible, and after running away from home, all Marian did was find another house to lay next to. He couldn't leave the safety of the village, not with the wolves out there. He shivered again but at least he wasn't with his brother, Darm. Darm would abuse Marian and so that's why he ran away. He heard the howling again and whimpered, trying to get warm in the snow drift but to no avail. He couldn't ask anyone to shelter him or else they would take him back to Darm. Marian imagined his father with the noose trying to kill himself again, while Darm went looking for Marian to beat him. Marian shivered and bundled himself in the baggy sweatshirt his mother had given him on her deathbed. He fell asleep again, listening to the crackle of fire on the other side of the wall. Hopefully he wouldn't get frostbite here in Silversnow Keep...

Hayden made sure to take his bag before he left the house- Javier showed interest in it and there was no way Hayden was letting him search through it.
He tried to find Javier but he was nowhere in the house... Or at least in any of the unlocked rooms. Maybe he just left for a hunt without telling him? He didn't think that Javier was one of the hunters but he could be wrong... They didn't talk much after all. The only thing he knew was that there are wolfs around here so going out alone is not a smart idea...
Hayden wonders when exactly did he stopped listening to most people. But then again, it was partially Javier's fault for giving him the keys.
He just needed to get out of the house... It was swallowing him whole. Hayden would give anything to just be back in Worcester.

Talon got out of bed it was either still late at night or very early in the morning, he was alone as usual. He wasn't sad or lonely, sometimes he thought it was better this way as he gets easily stressed when others interfere with anything he does. His parents had died in an accident about a year ago and while had mourned for months he had eventually gotten himself together and decided to move forward. He still lived in the same house when his parents were with him but the other villagers would often check in on him.
Talon eventually got out of his bed and frowned. It was quiet. Too quiet for a place like this no matter what time. Had he missed something? Was something going on perhaps? He sighed and went through his daily routine. After putting his clothes on he went outside and stopped in shock. There was no one outside. His mind flashed through many ideas and theories on what might be happening but he wasn't going to get answers like this. So he moved to the closest house and started knocking only to receive no answer. Talon once again cast his eyes onto the village. Nothing looked out of the norm, there were not even signs of wild animals passing by, odd. There wasn't much he could do apart from go to the next house and knock to see if someone answers.

:Aria woke up and yawned. She got out of bed and stretched, like she did every morning, then got dressed and went downstairs: "Good morning mom!" : She called out as she passed by the family room. She left the house and went for a jog, not concerned by the fact that there was no snow on the ground:

Mike jogged across the village, looking for anyone that he could talk to. Everything was distorted, nobody bothered to wake him up today. There was no noise in the house, in fact, there was no sound at all. A blizzard hit last night, but there was no snow. It came to Mike's notice after an hour had passed that his parents too, were in a comatose state. None of the neighbours answered him after a long period of knocking and shouting.

Lolah was sitting in the family room reading a book on the effects the mind can have on the human body. She wasn't to concern about the quiet as she believed her father was still passed out upstairs. Wouldn't surprise her if he slept till it was time for her to go to bed. That was normal for the man. She reached forward for the glass of water on the coffee table and took a sip of it before continuing her reading, quietly humming to herself as she imagined what this would be like in real life.

Miyla sat by the fire she made earlier that morning and peeked out through the semi frosted window. She expected there to be a decent amount of snow last night from the blizzard she swore she had seen. The fragrant aroma of her caffeinated black tea filled her senses with bright cheer and she took a delicate sip, careful not to burn her tongue. The hint of chocolate and a wordy flavor hit her tongue with the delicious mix of cream with it. She reveled in the enjoyment of her morning at home alone thought she did miss her parents deeply.

After giving up from going house to house Talon noticed that there was no snow. His mismatched eyes narrowed. Could this have something to do with everyone just... vanishing, so to say? Well, he'd never know this way considering there was no one to ask. He decided to go back home and take a chair outside so he could sit and wait. He placed the chair down so that it was facing him and then straddled it so he could use the back as an armrest while he waits and scans for any changes. He sighs, this may just be a very long and boring day.

Nobody was in the streets... It was still fairly early so this could be considered normal but not in this village- For some reason, People here tend to wake up early. Just another reason Hayden doesn't want to stay here longer than necessary.
Something was off. He couldn't pinpoint exactly what but there was something...
His breath was ragged and sharper that normal. "Two In, Three Hold, Two out"- It wasn't anything serious and he certainly wasn't anywhere near spiraling down to the dark place. It was just your average everyday nervousness. He also wasn't used to such a cold air... At least he was outside. He knew that if he stayed in the house he would be hyperventilating at this point and the walls would try to swallow him again... He couldn't deny that there was something calming about this town, now mixed with eerie in the air.
Hayden had to find somebody- Anybody. He looked in the Windows of houses and checked corners of the street. He doesn't dare to actually knock on any of the doors.. He doesn't want to talk, he just wants a proof that everything is okay.

With her beanie on, followed by a scarf, gloves and boots, Kiara headed out into the cold. Though used to it, after living here all her life, she still felt the need for warm clothing. The snow crunched under her feet with each step she took. It took a while to register - where was all the snow?

The village itself wasn't huge. But during it's construction, many, many years ago, there was a lack in design and organisation. Homes dotted about wherever. Roads weren't very straight and were always slippy because of the ice. The village center was marked by a building, slightly taller than all the others - the village hall. So, as long as you were to keep walking towards it, you'd get to the center with no problem. Markets were held at in the center. You could also find the elder's home, library, the medicine house and the small, local school for those fortunate to get public education.

During her trek, Kiara noticed very little movement in the usually busy streets. No people. No voices. Not even wind. Her head tilted back, stretching her neck. The sky was now her in her field of view. It wasn't a clear sky, sort of a soft grey color.

'Even the clouds don't appear to be moving.. Maybe it's just me but today has just been really.. weird?'

After evaluating, and re-evaluating his situation, he had decided to head out to get help. Well, that decision resulted in nothing good. Much like his parents, everyone else seemed to be in a comatose too. How did he know that? Because there should be some response from people after all the violent knocking he did and the noise he made.

Confused as he was, and now, also scared, he didn't know what to do, except to keep walking down the streets, which were totally empty. "I know I wanted some alone time......but this is just too much" he tried to retain his calmness. After thinking for some time, he decided to go to library to read some books about it.

Ryan just woke up. He did experience last night's blizzard, though he went to sleep with the rest of his family. Thankfully, after looking through the window, he noticed that the blizzard was gone. But he could barely hear any noise; normally he would hear the sound of people working and doing things at this time of the day. But there was nothing.

:Aria slowed down as she noticed that there was nobody around: "Huh, thats weird. I thought that there were usually people awake by now." : She shrugged and started jogging back home to get some breakfast:

Daisy then thought of a idea."Drake, quickly get your boots, heavy coat, and mittens on.also your hat."Drake nodded and quickly got on his things.meanwhile with Daisy.she was grabbing a warm shirt to put on,some good pants (or jeans idk),her mittens and hat.Drake was in the kitchen, waiting for his older sister.Daisy grabbed her pink coat then headded downstairs."let's eat first..."Drake demanded and Daisy sighed. She grabbed some fresh berrys, good meat and milk.they drank and ate quickly and then daisy wanted to double check Drake."You got everything on?"Drake sighed."Yeh...."Daisy unlocked their door and went out, with her younger brother holding her hand.
