I take a deep breath... "Sorry, I'm just stressed out... Forget the fight... Bye!! Plus you guys were better off without me... Lucas, good luck with Kyu..." I sprout my wings and fly away...

I didn't know what do to, Rosaline was still depressed and she wouldn't talk to either of us. I looked over at Lucas, he had no real emotion visible on his face. I looked at Artemis, 'We should give her some space.' I felt some tears roll down my cheeks, I nodded. Lucas has disappeared, only a black mist remained in his place. Artemis looked over at me, my heartbroken expression. He growled, 'I knew this was a bad idea! Come on Misaki, let's go sleep somewhere else tonight...' I nodded, letting the polar bear take the lead on this one. "I want to go home... I miss mom...", I said as more tears flowed down my cheeks. Artemis nodded, 'No school tomorrow then?' I shook my head as my tears blurred my vision, "I don't wanna come back. Not ever!" Artemis nodded, 'Wait here, I'm gonna get your things.'

(Time skip, Artemis is in the dorm, told from his POV)

I ran up the stairs, grabbing Misaki's bag. I shoved all of her items she had packed back into her backpack. I hated to see Misaki like this, she's a fragile soul. I remember the times she's tried to run away... or worse... leave the face of this Earth... forever... I shook my head and grabbed the now packed backpack. All of the sketches had gone into the sketchbook, except for Philip. I motioned for him to get into the book, he shook his head. I told him to tell everyone this one thing if he has going to stay, 'Misaki isn't coming back. Have fun finding a new roommate.' He nodded sadly, he knew that it was because of the events from earlier this week. "Tell Misaki that... I'll miss her...", Philip said. I nodded and began walk to the door. I took one last look at Rosaline and walked out.

(Time skip, Kyu's POV)

I was waiting for maybe 10 minutes before Artemis came back. He had my sketchbook and my backpack, I flipped through my sketchbook to check on my creations. "Hey Arty... Where's Philip?", I asked. He told me that Philip was going to stay with the others, I nodded and mounted the polar bear. As we walked, a few stray tears fell from my eyes. I will miss everyone but this is for the best...

I was about to reply when the other male interpreted and took off. "And I was just about to give him a piece of my mind." I mused to Knight with a huff.

I circled the sky above the campus until I saw Kyu leaving... I decided to follow her from the sky.

I had left. Why was Anubis so angry? I was in my room thinking about him. Then I realized. I needed Kyu right now. I ran up to her dorm room but the only one in there was Rosaline. I ran- tears starting to flood my eyes- where was she? I left for one second and she disappeared. Damn!! Had I hurt her feelings? Tears now started to run down my face. Then I saw Anubis flying in the sky and- was that Kyu and Artemis?! I ran and yelled, "Kyu!! Where are you going?!" But she didn't hear me and kept on running. Anubis flew over her in the sky. We hadn't even started school yet... I collapsed onto the soggy grass outside of the academy. "Damn this... DAMN IT!" I pounded the ground. Shadows enveloped where my fist hit. I was suddenly overtaken with a horrible sensation of darkness and despair. No. Not right now. This can't be happening. The Shadow Takeover was happening. I couldn't control the shadows, they were taking me over and then. Darkness. I had no sense of living or death. I looked into a black abyss but with no sensation of humanly form. The shadows are controlling my body now. If Ilfir were here he could help but- he wasn't. Kyu. Kyu.. Kyu........ Darkness.

I sighed at that. "If you do it will be a mistake and mother gia will not be happy. To much has been lost already from pointless fighting."

"KYU! KYU! KYU!" I screamed as I floated down in front of her. "Why are you leaving Lucas and where are you going? He needs you because you are the light oh his life... the shining in his darkness... without you... OH NOOO! I noticed a change in Lucas' aura... Go to him... I will watch from above....!"

All I could do was stare and watch and see what the shadows decided to do. My body's eyes glowed red and my hands were enveloped in shadowy claws. Phantom Thunder surrounded what used to be my own body one minute ago. All I was now was something that had been taken over by a parasite, the victim. I could simply watch now to see what destruction this creature might cause.

I heard Lucas yell at Kyu and I ran out my room and saw where he was at yelling out the window. And then I saw his transformation. I knew something was gonna happen!! I thought growing flowers out of the ground as I ran towards Kyu. “Kyu!!!! Don’t leave!!!” I screamed with all my might.

I kept casually floating using light reflection, and minding my own business, when I saw a few people moving, one seemed to be crying. "What's wrong? And don't I know you from somewhere?" I asked, looking at them.

"RAWGGGRU" the inhumanly creature roared. It wasn't Lucas. It wasn't even a person. At this moment it was a Devil- a Demon- a creature of pure immortal darkness that would destroy the light if not stopped. I was in no pain- for it was not my body anymore. Just a sack of human flesh and bones inspirited by some shadowy devil. I started to hum to a song I heard a few days ago. It reminded me of Kyu. Kyu... Kyu..... Kyu? Who was Kyu? Where was I. Who am I. My mind is going foggy. Maybe soon enough I'll be given the pleasure of moving on.... to the great light above where I could finally be normal and stop messing things up. For once in my life... I could be happy. But..... Kyu? The name Kyu made me happy. It was a beacon of light in the endless darkness, a savior of sorts. The light to darkness. But who was Kyu? At this point, I didn't know who or what anyone was. All I knew is that destruction was all I could think about.... "GRAAAAWWWWGGG!!!"

I saw clouds in the distance, it looked like a storm... In the direction of the others.

"I feel a dark aura, let's go check it out." I ran over there, it looked like a shadow monster.

"Guys! Back away, I'll get it."

"KYUUU..... KYUUU!!!!!" The monster roared, his claws digging deeper into the ground. "KYUU!!!!!!"

I had nodded at Elijah and followed after him. I slid to a stop as I took in the shadow monster. "Who?" I muttered to Knight wondering who the shadow monster could have been.

"Oh. Fun. Like father like son, I suppose. Let's see." I said, floating over to the being exerting loads of dark energy, and looked into him. "Hm. Kyu... Shockingly few to work with, but. If one of you is Kyu, talk some sense into this young demon thing." I began charging up a low amount of light energy, testing the being's tolerance, and firing a weak beam of concentrated light.

"you stay away from her!" I went Lycan, long silver hair, red eyes , the green streak was still there, white fur (white version of Kyuubi). I dashed at him liked a rabid monster, I couldn't control myself like I thought I could, I entered primal instinct.

The creature slashed its claws, sending Elijah flying. The creature released a stream of Phantom Thunder sending the others flying as well. I couldn't control myself. The shadows had taken over. That's why I had come to Soul Academy. To control this and to keep from being like my foolish mother. A storm was approaching....
