An earthquake shakes the village where you live. When you and others run outside to investigate, you find that the entrance to an enormous cave has been uncovered, marked by gently glowing blue stones that sparkle in the light. Legends have told of this cave; deep within its bowels, the legendary Pokemon Jirachi is said to slumber. Its ability to grant wishes attracts Pokemon from far and wide, and everyone is preparing to venture into the underground world to make their dreams come true. But watch out! The cave is full of traps and dangerous obstacles, and is home to aggressive feral Pokemon and criminals who want Jirachi's power to themselves. Are you ready for an adventure unlike anything you've done before?

Rules:
- Pokemon only, no humans
- Feel free to use your own Pokemon characters, fusions etc!
- No fakemon though please or it gets a little confusing
- No big legendaries, small legends like Mew, Celebi, Manaphy etc. are okay
- Please don't be ridiculously overpowered
- No godmodding (controlling someone else's character)
- Please write in full sentences
- Please write more than one sentence for each post, otherwise it takes ages for the story to get anywhere

Character Name: Breeze
Appearance:

Moves: Calm Mind, Psyshock, Air Slash, Hurricane

Personality/info: Breeze is a flying type Espeon who's generally pretty nice and chilled out, but can be a little wary around strangers. She's sassy and often sarcastic, and will not hesitate to pick a fight with anyone who hurts any of her friends, especially since losing them is her biggest fear. She and Michi are practically inseparable, and although Michi is perfectly capable of defending herself, Breeze always jumps into the line of fire first rather than seeing her girlfriend get hurt.

Personality/info: Michi is a ghost and psychic type Mew who died while protecting an Espeon, Sylveon and Charmander from a pack of Mightyena, and absorbed some of their traits in the process. (Her head gem, ribbons and tail flame.) Her refusal to stay dead, however, meant she became part ghost type and now guides lost souls to the afterlife to be at peace. She's relaxed and friendly, however, she gets nervous in large groups and is much less willing to fight than Breeze, preferring to settle conflict through peaceful agreement rather than see anyone get hurt.

Personality/info: Kalei is a female, Normal/Fairy type Rattata. She is modest, most of the time calm and friendly and will probably deny compliments. However, in battle, you shouldn't underestimate her. Despite being small and looking "cute", she can get very serious and furious in battle.
She always carries around an Oran Berry. Also her little bag might be small, but somehow, even a human's bike would fit in there. She has no idea what a "bike" is though.

Personality/info: Xanthus is a dead pokemon and therefore it gained the second chance as a Ghost/Normal type. Except Ghost pokemon and his pet, Pipxel, other pokemon can barely see him. Luckily, he learned Camouflage and can change his type for a span on a few minutes but this is the only way other pokemon can see him. Xanthus is a shy and very quiet pokemon and barely speaks, often just getting flustered if you stare at him for too long or ask him something. He is very friendly nonetheless though.

Personality/info:
Blitz is usually solitary. He can snap harshly at people he doesn't know. Secretly, he likes talking to others though trys to act tough. When he gets to know someone, he protects them as much as possible. This is due to a rocky past that will probably be announced later in the roleplay. He's not as strong as he seems, and has many scars from being beat up as a torchic and combuskin.

"Ok..." Breeze glanced over at Michi, and then back to the cave entrance. "Are you ready for this? Because I think I finally am."
"Yeah!" Came Michi's cheery reply. "I'm nervous, but really excited as well. How amazing would it be to find Jirachi?"

Breeze didn't respond, instead taking a deep breath and stepping towards the cave.
"Let's go!" Michi suddenly squealed, flying past the Espeon into the relative darkness of the tunnel.

"Hey, wait for me!"

Blitz touched one of the crystals, unsure as he watched the other Pokémon dove into the cave. He shook his head, thinking of all the dangers that could lie infront of him. He stepped into the darkness, following the sounds of the other Pokémon. He stayed quiet as he followed, not wanting to be seen, even though his bright colors were pretty vulnerable.

Kalei held her Oran Berry close to herself and stared into the darkness of the cave that opened up in front of her. The blue glowing stones at the entrance sparkled in the sunlight and made the entrance almost look like the mouth of a Luxray. It was a little scary.
She watched as some other Pokémon decided to enter the cave. They all looked taller and stronger than her, and she was unsure if she should follow the group of Pokémon or not.
She thought for too long, however, and when her thoughts cleared up again, the other Pokémon were already out of sight.

Kalei sighed and looked to the ground, then to her berry, then to the entrance of the cave again. With an expression of determination, she took a deep breath. I can do this, she thought. And in the next moment, she jumped up and ran right into the cave.

Two pokemon, one quiet night. They are trying to find a place to explore as the night is far more interesting than the day. Mysterious vibes that gives you chills, the sound of nocturnal pokemon that could be heard in the distance and their shadow following them. Nothing is better than adventuring during the night time.

Ah, looks like they found something already ! It seems to be a cave surrounded by glowing crystals. Such a breath taking view ! As they slowly took steps towards the cave entrance, they stopped for a second.

Xanthus: ... ... ...
Xanthus: Pip ... I think I've just heard pokemon voices down there. Would you like to go with me down there ?
Pipxel: Pip ! (said Pipxel excited and happy)
Xanthus: Alright ! Let's go ~

As Michi and Breeze advanced deeper underground, the light from the surface slowly filtered away until all that was lighting their path was the glowing blue stones embedded in the rock around them, giving the cave an ethereal feel. It was cool and quiet, the only sounds being the distant footsteps of other Pokemon behind them. Breeze briefly wondered if they would be challenged by another group. After all, having a wish granted was a prize that many would not hesitate to fight for.

Glancing over at Michi, Breeze's heart nearly leapt out of her chest. The Mew's face was lit with wonder as she stared at the star-like gems above her, the lights reflected in her eyes making them sparkle. The Espeon only snapped out of her daze when Michi turned towards her, pointing at a fork in the path in front of them.

"Which way should we go?" Michi asked. "The one on the right looks like it heads deeper..."

"I guess we'll go deeper then." Breeze's reply contained more certainty than none, although she still wasn't completely sure. "If I was a mysterious wish-granter of legend, I'd probably be in the deepest part of the cave?"
Michi nodded. "Okay then! Let's keep going until we get tired, then we can find a safe place to stop for a rest."

Breeze gave a short nod and smiled in return. "Sounds like a plan."

Blitz created a fire on top of his hand, it wasn't much, but enough to see the Pokémon go into the right cave. He glanced at the other one, but continued to stalk the others. As he walked, he began to dig into his thoughts. How many wishes would this legendary Jirachi give, perhaps if she gives any at all? He cleared the thought from his mind. He didn't want to start any needless fights. Blitz sighed and continued following.

Continuing further down the sparkling tunnel, Breeze's sense of unease grew with every step she took.

Something isn't right...

Her thoughts were stopped as suddenly as Michi stopped in front of her. The Mew's body was tense, her ears were perked, and the flame on her tail had flared up slightly. As Breeze opened her mouth to speak, Michi placed a paw gently over her mouth to shush her.

"Someone's there."

She gathered a cluster of embers in her paws, the same greeny-blue as her tail flame, and turned to face the direction they had just come.

"Show yourself!" The tremble in her voice was only barely noticeable as she threw the fireball back up the sloping path.

Please. Breeze silently begged as her thoughts started to run wild again. Don't be someone we're forced to fight.
