Sylveon winced, then smiled as a beam of light shone upon her from the sky as her Wish, which she had subtly used before without anyone noticing. She glistened as she was healed by the Wish attack, but her joy was interrupted when an audience member cried out.
"How'd she use five moves?! Last Resort, Flail, Protect, Hyper Voice, AND Wish!"
Sylveon ignored the audience member, though she looked slightly less happy about having used Wish and causing that realization. She used Last Resort once again, hoping that Amber hadn't noticed.

Sylveon used Wish once again, hoping to be healed sooner rather than later so Amber wouldn't win, and then used Last Resort.

Amber screeched as loud as he could, and dove down to hit Sylveon with Aerial Ace after taking Hyper Voice

Sylveon's Wish came true immediately before the impact, so though she would have fainted from the Aerial Ace, she managed to survive the hit. She used Hyper Voice once again at close range.

Sylveon jumped to avoid Earthquake, but was hit by Aerial Ace, and then retaliated with Hyper Voice.

Sylveon jumped to avoid Earthquake, was hit by Aerial Ace and brought to low health, and then hit by Rock Slide to bring her to basically no HP remaining before using Moonblast, ignoring the confused shouts from the audience.

Sylveon smiled weakly, and used Wish so she'd feel better soon. She decided to explain to Amber what happened, but not until the battle ended. "Zoroark, we're the last two - you can come out now!"
The audience seemed shocked. The Zoroark that was unconscious disappeared into a burst of sparkles, and the real Zoroark materialized on the other side of the battlefield. "Sorry that I accidentally made you appear to use six different moves!" he apologized. "It's tiring, using all of those illusions..."
"It's fine," Sylveon laughed. "The only Ghost-types in the battle had already fainted, so I didn't have to worry about disguising my moves anyway. Thank you so much for your help!" Her Wish came true a moment later, restoring her health. "Should one of us forfeit so we can split the prize , or do you want to finish the battle anyway?"
Zoroark paused to think about it. "I'll just forfeit now. It's not like I can't battle you another time when we're both fully healed."
Arcanine and Gardevoir reappeared. "Since Zoroark has forfeited, Sylveon is the winner! Sylveon, here is your prize, 25,000! Congratulations on your victory!"

Amber woke up a couple hours later, and went over to Circuit "Circuit? Can you wake up?"

Circuit got up, but was quite dizzy and had to sit. "Hi, Amber!" he said cheerily but weakly. He'd probably take a while to heal, especially with all of the Earthquakes from while he was asleep but the others were still fighting.

Sylveon saw that Amber was awake, and rushed over to him. "Hey!" she said. "I'm pretty sure I confused you a lot during our battle, so I'll do my best to explain now!"

"Thanks!" Sylveon replied cheerfully. "I never would've done it without Zoroark, though, as I'm going to explain. As you could see, there were two Ghost-type Pokémon in the battle - Trevenant and Golurk. Ghost-type Pokémon are extremely good at evading attacks - they turn invisible, teleport, and all sorts of annoying stuff. Really, we're lucky that Golurk didn't do any of it. Anyway, I didn't want them to dodge my attacks, so Zoroark - he's my friend, so he wanted to help me win - used Illusion to disguise my Moonblasts as Normal-type moves. Since Ghost-types are immune to Normal-type moves, Golurk and Trevenant assumed that they wouldn't be affected, so they didn't try to dodge, so I hit them every time. Make sense so far?"

Sylveon nodded in agreement. "He really is an amazing Pokémon. Now, I'll continue. Zoroark wanted to use Illusion to help me, but he didn't want the others to know during the battle, so he pretended to faint with Illusion, and the real Zoroark was invisible throughout our entire fight, helping me with my moves. Once I defeated you, he revealed himself and forfeited, and we've split the prize ," she explained cheerfully.
