Anachronism was a male, quiet Fennekin. He was capable of taking hits. He met Zachary in Aquacorde Town at Level 5. He was the first Pokémon of Zachary and is rather close to his trainer. Zach gave him this nickname because he was reminded of a song that he liked, which was called «Anachronism». Anachronism would protect Zach with his life and is ready to take on every opponent.

Anachronism fought bravely against Grant and his Pokémon, but the Gym leader's Amaura killed him with Rock Tomb.

UltimateSalt is a male, hasty Beedrill. He hates to lose. He met Zach in the Santalune Forest at Level 2. He was the second Pokémon of Zachary and his trainer considers him a good Pokémon. UltimateSalt is a little confused about the nickname that his trainer gave him, but he loves his trainer nonetheless.

When UltimateSalt reached Level 8, he evolved into Kakuna.
When UltimateSalt reached Level 10, he evolved into Beedrill.

He protec was a male, hasty Burmy. He was thoroughly cunning. He met Zach on Route 3 at Level 5. He was the third Pokémon of Zachary and fought by his side. Zach gave him this nickname because the only move he knew when they met was Protect. He liked his trainer a lot and tried his best at all times.

One day, Zach trained with He protec, UltimateSalt and Anachronism on Route 4 to get ready to take on the first gym leader. They encountered a wild Dunsparce, which, after being poisoned and close to being defeated, decided to use Rollout. He protec tried using Protect, but it failed and the Dunsparce's Rollout killed him.

Romeo is a male, rash Roselia. He is mischievous. He met Zach on Route 4 at Level 8. He was the fourth Pokémon of Zachary and is doing a good job so far. Zach nicknamed him Romeo because he knew that, if he survived long enough, he would become a beautiful, rose-alike Pokémon, and since he was male, Romeo seemed like the perfect nickname for him. Zachary is careful at using him in battle, since he doesn't want to lose him before he can evolve.

When Romeo reached Level 25, he evolved into Roselia.

Cvijet is a male, serious Ivysaur. He is capable of taking hits, just like Anachronism. He met Zach in Lumiose City at Level 10. He was the fifth Pokémon Zach obtained and a gift from Professor Sycamore. Zach thought about nicknaming him Bulb at first, but wanted a nickname that could fit all of Bulbasaurs evolutionary stages and ended up nicknaming him Cvijet after some thinking, which is the Croatian word for flower or blossom. Cvijet is trying hard to become stronger at all times.

When Cvijet reached Level 28, he evolved into Ivysaur.

Léonie was a female, hasty Kecleon. She was mischievous. She met Zach on Route 6 at Level 12. She was the sixth Pokémon to join Zachs team. Zach had a little bit trouble to come up with a nickname for her, but ended up naming her Léonie because of the fact that Kecleon contains the name "Leon" and Léonie is the female variant of Leon. She was new on the team and didn't quite trust her trainer yet, but Zachary was sure that she would become a valuable team member.

When Zachary was already devasted over Éleasnores death, he had to be strong nonetheless as he had to face two Team Flare grunts. He fought alongside Serena and sent out Léonie. Serenas Espurr set up a Light Screen to help protect the team, but one of the opposing Pokémon, a Scraggy, used Brick Break on Léonie and instantly killed her.

Other: died at Level 20

Éleasnore was a female, quiet Snorlax. She liked to relax. She was sleeping on the bridge on Route 7, having Level 15. She was the seventh Pokémon that Zach caught. He nicknamed her Éleasnore as a little bit of a pun; he originally came up with Éleanore at first, but chose Éleasnore instead because of the species' name "Snor"lax. Zach was unsure if he would be keeping her on the team.

When Zach ran into a trainer with a high Level Axew, he was unsure what to do as his opponent kept using Dragon Rage. Once the opposing Pokémon was poisoned, he sent out Éleasnore to stall the Axew and escape the battle with as little damage as possible. In the end, Éleasnore sacrificed herself for the rest of the team.

Other: died at Level 16

Cora was a female, naughty Meditie. She was mischievous. She met Zach in the Connecting Cave at Level 13 and was the eighth Pokémon he caught. Her nickname apparently doesn't have any special meaning or reason. For a while, Cora was waiting in the PC boxes for her time to shine on Zacharys team.

When Zachary finally picked her to battle alongside him and train her, she gave her best, but in the end, she was killed by a wild Absols Pursuit.

Other: died at Level 16

Angel was a male, brave Absol. He was strong willed. He met Zach with Level 15 on Route 8, being the ninth Pokémon he caught. Zach heard that the Mega form of Absol looked a lot like an angel and so he nicknamed him Angel.

Though being weakened from previous battles, Angel still picked a fight with a wild Sandile, which caught him in a Sand Tomb and killed him.

Other: died at Level 17

Darude was a male, impish Hippopotas. He was proud of his power. He met Zachary on Route 9 at Level 17 and was the 10th Pokémon Zach caught. Since his ability, Sand Stream, is causing a sand storm in battle, Zachary got very "creative" with the nicknames and called him Darude. Darude joined Zachs actual team shortly after Cora's death and was in training for a while. He became a reliable team member very quickly.

In a hard battle against Korrina's Lucario duo, Darude got unlucky and received a critical Power-Up Punch.

Other: died at Level 23

Dora is a female, bold Tyrunt. She is highly persistent. She was revived out of a Fossil in Ambrette Town at Level 20 and the 11th Pokémon that Zachary obtained. Zachary had it easy to chose a nickname for this fossil Pokémon, since one of his friends, nicknamed Dora, once told him that Tyrunt was one of her favorite fossil Pokémon. Zachary would be utterly devasted if she died, since she has a special meaning to him - even though the Pokémon itself probably doesn't understand that.

Jolly was a male, careful Electrike. He was somewhat vain. Zachary found him in Route 10 at Level 19 and caught him as his 12th Pokémon. Zachary had to think of a nickname for a while, but went with Jolly, as that's what the Pokémon seemed to be. He quickly connected with Zach during their training sessions and Zach hoped that he would be a good counter for future battles, as his team's main weakness were Flying and Fire Pokémon.

When Zach and his team had to face a trainer with his Sigilyph, the opponent used a Whirlwind to send out Dora. The already weakened Pokémon, down to 2 HP, would stand no chance - Jolly realized that soon and jumped in the way, taking a Psybeam in order to protect Dora's life.

Other: died at Level 23

Apple is a female, modest Dedenne. She is quick to flee. She met Zach on Route 11 at Level 21 and is the 13th total member of the team. Zachary immediately had a nickname ready, although he was tied between Lou and Apple for a minute. He went with Apple in the end as he thought it would fit her better. She is currently training to catch up with everyone's level.
