"Is there anything you need after I'm done changing?"
Samuel asked, stepping up past Lithar to open the door and step
into the room. He set down his things, pivoting on his heel to face
Lithar with a soft smile and a head tilt.
Samuel nodded and gave a soft and appreciative grin.
"Alright... Thank you!" He said with a smile. He shifted, taking a
deep breath and glancing. He'd close the door and change, but he
didn't want to just close it in Lithar's face.
Lithar smiles and makes his way to his room. He enters and shuts
the door. The room is painted a beautiful blue and seems cheerful.
There is a double bed in the middle of the room with the headboard
being pushed up against the wall. Infront of it was a dresser and
in a corner was a couple of bookshelves and chairs facing them.
Lithar attention though wasn't on any of that but instead on a
small table with two urns resting on it. Above the table was a
painting of a man and a little girl. The man was impeccably dressed
in a black suit. He was pale with brown hair and expressive red
eyes. The little girl was dress in a white dress with a wide smile
on her face. She has light purple hair and light red eyes with a
purple rim around the pupil.
Samuel closed the door with a final smile to Lithar, and
changed quickly. He changed into a red kimono, and ran a hand
through his hair. This type of dress was oddly connected to his
culture in a sense that men wore it too. He tied the white ribbon
on the front, and smiled. The way it fell lightly off his shoulder
and shaped his body was beautiful, making him smile.
He turned to his bags, and folded up his wet clothes. He set them
on the white dresser. He sighed and turned to is white bag. Inside
was clothing, and he folded them and slid it into the dresser. He
hung up the things that need to be hung in the closet, and zipped
the bag back up. He turned to his red bag, and opened it. Inside
was his bedding, which he put on the double sized bed. He smiled
and giggled as he made the bed, finding the fact that he'd be so
small in the bed quite funny. His third bag had toiletries and such
inside. He left it there, flopping onto his bed with a growl of his
stomach.
Lithar walked over to the little table and kneeled in front of it.
"Hey Richard, Linna. How are you two doing." He remains silent for
a minute before replying. "That good to hear. I have a helper. I
think you would have liked him, Richard. You may even try to add
him to the family."
Samuel rolled onto his back, staring at the ceiling. What
to do? He sighed. "Am I ready to give up my life to help some
random vampire? Is that what I want to do?" He asked himself softly
before groaning. "And the torture? Good lord..." He whimpered,
rubbing his hands down his face.
Martha hummed as she mopped the entryway before the clock chimed.
"Ah time for me to start lunch." She mused before scurrying to the
kitchen.
Lithar had been talking to Richard and Linna when the clocks in the
house chimed. "Ah lunchtime. I was getting a bit hungry." He mused
with a chuckle as he got off his knees.
Samuel heard the chime, letting out a soft and questioning
him. He sat up, stretching. He stepped towards the door, opening it
and stepping outside. "Does it mean lunch...?" He wondered, the
wooden floor cool under his small, bare feet. He glanced towards
Lithar's door, swallowing and deciding to wait for the vampire
before he headed down.
Lithar exited his room and smiled as he spotted Samuel. "Ah I was
going to come get you." He mused. "Come if we are quick enough we
may get to see Martha work her magic in the kitchen." He mused
playfully to Samuel. He makes his way slightly down the hall before
turning and walking backward so he can talk to Samuel. "You know I
do not believe I got your name and vice versa. I'm Lithar."
"Ah! I'm Samuel. Many just call me Sam, though." Samuel
spoke with a soft hum, smile on his lips. He fiddled with the
ribbon on his front, smiling as his fingertips brushed the silky
fabric. He swallowed, and bit his lip as his stomach growled
quietly.
Samuel smiled at Lithar and nodded to his question. "We
shall." He hummed calmly, clasping his little hands together and
looking at the walls they passed. Portraits, some of vampires and
some of non-vampires were intriguing him. He smiled and looked back
to Lothar with the grin still on his face.
Lithar hummed as he happily leads the way to the kitchen. He looked
back at Samuel and smiled as he took in him looking at the pictures
of his siblings and their helpers. To the outside world, he may act
as if he doesn't care for helpers and believe that they were under
him but that was far from true. Within his family helpers were
considered to be family. I'll have to go over the rules with
Samuel eventually. He thinks to himself before running into the
kitchen door. "Oof." He says while rubbing his nose.
Samuel had been following close behind Lithar, not really
paying attention either. He had been thinking to himself when
Lithar ran into the door, and he ran into Lithar's back. "Ack!" He
yelped, taking a few staggering steps backwards and rubbing his own
face. "S-sorry."
Samuel gave Lithar as he stepped into the kitchen, turning
back and softly saying "Thank you." to the other. He had a sweet
smile on his lips, and he glanced around the kitchen, taking in the
beautiful room. All of the mansion was gorgeous to him.
"Ello you two. Please sit down." Martha mused as she continued
making lunch. "I do hope soup is alright with you two and Master
Lithar stay out of the blood cookie jar or you will find a spatula
to your bum." Lithar had sneaked in behind Samuel and was making
his way over to the said jar when Martha spotted him. "Drat." He
muttered before taking a seat at the kitchen island.
Samuel giggled, taking a seat next to Lithar. His feet hung
low, the tips of his toes barely grazing the tiled floor. His hands
rested in his lap. He shifted softly, and gave Lithar a glance and
a smile before he looked to Martha.
"Told you she mother hens." Lithar whispers to Samuel with a
playful grin. "If you continue to whisper about me your not getting
any cookies." Martha responds while placing a bowl of soup in front
of Lithar and Samuel. "Though I won't take cookies away from you.
You barely have any meat on your bones so eat up now." She tells
Samuel.
