A Gastly has emerged from the painting in the wall, cackling. Chimchar was more than ready to fight. "Alright Chimchar, use ember!" Wesley was pumped up.

Chimchar fired, and the Gastly was damaged. It tried to use lick, but Chimchar dodged, then countered with another ember.

"Nice move Chim! Now, let's catch this Gastly!" Wesley threw the pokeball, making contact with the Gastly. 1, 2, 3 shakes... Click. "Boo-yah!" He picked up the pokeball, and Gastly popped out to lick Wesley, sending shivers up his spine. "Well, I think we got a free roamer on our hands, huh buddy?" Chimchar laughed.

Tiger looked over to Roy "hey I'm going to try and find more pokemon for my team! See you in the next route" he said kindly, and walked outside.

"See ya." Roy said, noticing the professor.

"You're here to get your starter, right? Hmph. That's apparently all I'm good for now..." Professor Rowan said, grimacing.

"N-no... That's not... I want to do take up the Pokedex too..." Roy stammered, sweat forming at his forehead.

Tiger walked outside, and looked around. The air seemed fresh, and the day seemed nice. "Alright lets look for a new partner" he said to his Cyndaquil, and made his way for the town exit.

After leaving the Old Chateau, Wesley learned that it was a safe haven for all Ghost-Type Pokemon. He started to head back towards Jubilife City, he knew he'd have a chance to get his Poketch. Better to do it now and keep up with the times, he still had his old X-Transceiver. But that was Unova tech, Sinnoh was completely different.
