Mel nodded and hurried to catch up with the rest of the group. She
looked curiously between Roy and Tiger. Something was up between
them, she could tell.
Oshawott tapped her shoulder and pointed at her bag.
She nodded and reached back, pulling out a berry and handing it to
the water type.
Tiger shrugged and continued onward. He looked at the sky as if
making sure nothing was flying nearby. The only thing he saw were
Pidgey, and Hoothoot flying either to or from their nests.
Tiger looked over as he heard Heart whistling. He then yawned, and
looked back up to the sky in slight concern. Ho-Oh could attack
at any moment...what will they even think when they find out abou
the silver wing...and that they are after me for Lugia. Would it be
safer to go off by myself? he thought to himself silently.
"We have to hurry to Goldenrod." He had had another vision, this
time, Ho-Oh attacked Goldenrod City. He saw something else...
someone he couldn't identify, holding a wing. That's around
where the vision ended, concluded Roy.
"Alright" Tiger said uncertainly, and looked at the sky. "If we
leave now and don't stop for any rest it might take until dawn
tomorrow morning to get there...and we'd still be going through
Ilex forest...."
"Doesn't matter. Ho-Oh will be there, and we have to go... NOW. You
of all people should know how important reaching Ho-Oh before it's
too late should be." Roy said bluntly, constantly seeing Tiger's
expression and knew he was thinking about Ho-Oh's attack fairly
often.
"Uh.. No rest until dawn? Cool. Great. I'm doomed." Mel groaned,
but moved forward and then paused uncertainly. "Couldnt we like,
rent bikes from somewhere or something?"
Tiger growled, and nodded he then looked over to Mel. "There is no
bike shop for miles..." he said softly. "And the only pokemon
that'd be willing to fly me to Goldenrod is to small to carry our
group" he said lowly, and continue onwards.
Tiger looked over to Mel apologetically. He was unsure if the
others would even trust him for this attack that was about to
happen. How does Roy know of this attack? Is he working for
them? No...maybe he saw something... he thought to himself
suspiciously.
"What did he mean by that?" Mel asked Tiger carefully, glancing up
from the ground to look a true him. "By the whole 'you of all
people' thing, I mean." She clarified.
"Err...I worry about Ho-Oh that's all" Tiger said quietly. "It's a
long story that might be revealed soon enough..." he said in a
quiet tone. Cyndaquil looked at Tiger in concern, and looked up as
the boy walked onward.
Mel still looked doubtful but nodded. It wasn't her place to
question him, this wasn't even her home region. "I guess Ho-oh was
violent when we saw it."
"While we're moving, I might as well explain how I know this." Roy
took a deep breath in, knowing that it would be a long story. "As
you know, I hail from Blackthorn City. I've trained under Clair for
6 years, and received Dratini 2 years ago."
