[OOC: The territories and such are complete! Feel free to check it out! Also, rabbits aren't a possible prey item since the idea is based off of a real place somewhat. Feel free to make any necessary edits accordingly.]

Swantail flicked his tail as he sorted herbs within the Medicine Den. He could already imagine the anarchy that was his Clan this early. The tom lifted himself, stopping his herb sorting. He decided that since he knew the prey pile was empty, he would go hunt. Herb sorting could wait, right? After all, he could search for some last minute plants before leaf-bare.

The tom exited the den, not bothering to say a word to any cat. He trotted out of camp in silence.

Sunspark nodded. To take his mind off the divide between Clan and mate, he decided the best way was to go hunting. "I feel, even though it's leaf-fall, those queens and elders will be full fed in no time!" he said cheerfully and finished it off with a light chuckle. "Should we go hunting now?"

Graycloud nodded, and stretched. His claws dug into the ground as he did so "let's go then" he meowed kindly, and purred. "I think they could do with a vile or two" he meowed, and nodded to Swantail as the medicine car was leaving camp silently.

Sunspark flicked his tail, gesturing Graycloud to follow him. He walked a few pawsteps forward to the camp exit, and he saw a brakened colored pelt off into the distance. Invaders! His pelt prickled up, but he then realized it must just be a vole. Oops. He looked behind him, partly to see if anyone was watching him and party to see if Graycloud was following him to the exit.

Graycloud looked over to Sunspark slightly, and flicked an ear. "Are you alright? You seem a bit more jumpy than usual" he asked kindly.

[oh frick! must've misread allegiances. I'll swap that out for an animal.]

Sunspark turned his head to Graycloud. "Just a bit anxious," he said, but regretted it instantly. Does the Clan really want an anxious leader? He decided not to quell on it, so he flicked his tail, gesturing Graycloud to follow him once more. The fjord would be perfect for fishing, and Sunspark was a great fish catcher. He made his way to the lowest part of the shore.

"What about? It's peaceful now, and all we need to be is prepared for any problems..." He said kindly. Graycloud wished to help Sunspark calm down. He looked over the fjord, and yawned partially.

Now that Sunspark was at the shore, he could finally calm down. "Okay, let's fish." he said to Graycloud, and leaned close to the water. A dark blue figure cast itself in the stream, and Sunspark darted out his paw, hooking it swiftly and biting its neck to secure a kill. He tossed it behind him, starting a makeshift freshkill pile that he would collect after.

Graycloud looked into the water, and saw a few fish swim by. He then hooked a fish out of the water, and swiftly delivered a killing blow. He placed it behind him where the fresh kill pile was. "So how is Mudpelt doing" Graycloud asked gently, and side glanced at the other warrior.

Sunspark met his eyes. Mouse dung! "She's fine. I asked her how she was doing not quite long ago. She said she was okay." he said. "Anyways, I can't believe we already caught two fish.. and it's leaf-fall!" said Sunspark, eager to change the topic. He smiled, making it slightly harder to prove he was, in fact, counterfeiting his emotions.

Graycloud nodded, and flicked an ear at the sudden change of subject. Why is he on edge? he thought to himself, but shook his head. He went back to fishing with muttering "yeah I know" first.

That was close. He dipped his head facing stream, careful not to show his shadow, and cast his paw to a fish silhouette. He pulled his paw up, only to find the fish was a soggy piece of Twoleg rubbish. Sunspark grunted, and tried to fish again.

Graycloud glanced over to Sunspark silently, and continued to fish. I want to help Sunspark if he's concerned about something, but he wont tell me... he thought to himself quietly, and hooked out another fish.

Sunspark, out of the corner of his eye, saw Graycloud glance at him. What's he worried about? A pang of shock hit Sunspark. Mouse brain! He's worried about me! Sunspark had been so secretive about everything lately. It's no wonder Graycloud wanted to cheer him up. He paused fishing, and faced Graycloud straight in the eye. "I'm sorry, Graycloud! I hid everything from you!" he blurted out. "I'm going through a hard time!" He leaned closer to Graycloud, starting to quiver in fear. "I hope you understand." Sunspark said quietly and sincerely, and waited for his friend's response.

Graycloud purred kindly, and gently cuffed Sunspark across the ear. "Of course I forgive you mouse brain" he said kindly. "What's wrong? Maybe I can help" he said softly.

Sunspark smiled. He was glad Graycloud was so kind. "Well.. Mudpelt and I aren't quite getting along so well.. Maybe the coming of our kits will cure the relationship?" Privately he thought against it, but he wanted to act hopeful in front of his positive friend.

"Uh.. okay.. if you say so." Sunspark said skeptically. "Another issue I have is probably being the new deputy. I feel obliged to protect my clan. That's why I jumped at the vole earlier. I thought it was an invader.. I.. don't think I'm cut for the job." he said calmly but shyly.
