Kyfron shook his head and chuckled. "We'll see about that, Nicole." he teased, his Gabite releasing itself from its Pokeball and crying its name in agreement.

PJ ventured off with her Delcatty towards the bathroom. She nervously looked at her reflection in the mirror whilst leaning against it, her Delcatty prancing on the granite counter. She released the rest of her Pokemon and smiled at the six of them. "We're gonna give it our all. We can't lose." she told them.

Aditsan watched as PJ walked off and release his Pokemon from their Pokeballs.
"We'll give it our best shot and try to take PJ's tips on the performing side in order to get some practice in before the next Contest, okay?"

Sakurai spotted a PC, and accessed it. He drew out a Butterfree (Level 53) and a Komala (Level 49), returning his Zorua. "Seems like most of them have 6 Pokemon." He sent out his Primarina, his Raichu, and the aforementioned Butterfree and Komala. "Alright team. Let's do our best!"

"It's Nick. Not Nicole. No way in hell do I want to be called Nicole." Nick frowned, her Banette staring down the Gabite.

"Yeah, we all have 6 Pokémon. It should be a 6 on 6, no?" Jess said, as she and Sakurai were called down to the battling field. She grinned, calling back her Raichu and Clefable, and placing their Pokeballs on her wrist bracelet where she kept them. Jess then walked to one side of the field, waving to the large crowd.

[if it's ok I added two pokemon to my characters team in the sign-ups because I felt like I was the only one with 4 pokemon X3]
Amara let her tea out of their pokeballs and smiled. "I know we might be at a disadvantage because we aren't as experienced as some trainers here but let's do our best!" She said, trying her best not to shake out of excitement and fear.

"Really?" Kyfron asked, sarcastically, pulling up some information he'd noted.
"Then what's this?" he interrogated, flashing a picture of Nick's full name beside a picture of a somewhat younger version of her. [or something idk]

[i'm just gonna have aditsan and pj go up against each other since the tournament shouldn't last long]

Sakurai recalled all of his Pokemon, walking onto the other side of the field. Waving a quick 'Alola!' to the crowd, he faced Jess.

Melody had traverse through the crowd in order to get to the seats so she could watch the matchup.She tilted her head curious of how this would play out."H..Hey Sparky?"She mused causing her Pokemon to look at her."Who d..do you this will w..win?"Sparky sits thinking for a few minutes before shrugging."Good e..enough answer."

The announcer introduced the pair over the intercom, before starting the battle. She sent out her Nidoking with a grin, then waited for Sakurai.

Nick gasped. "That's incredibly creepy." She frowned, not liking the 'Nicole Hannah Arriaga' she saw. She stood up, reaching for the notes.

Wigglytuff ate its Kebia Berry, decreasing the damage from Sludge Wave, but not by much. "Alright, now use Sing!" Wigglytuff began to sing a lullaby towards Nidoking.

Nick turned a bright pink. "That's creepy as hell. You should be ashamed, you, you... you stalker!" She snapped, taking the notes and slapping him with them.

Jess frowned, she knew she didn't have much time before Nidoking fell asleep. "Sludge wave, and quick!" She commanded.

Wigglytuff barely lasted on an inch of HP, and finished the lullaby. "Alright! Now, use Psychic!" Sakurai cried out, hoping that the Nidoking was nearly finished after the attack.

Jess recalled Nidoking, who didn't have much HP left. "Togekiss! Finish it with Air Slash!" She commanded, the flying type creating sharp streaks of air and hurling them towards the opponent.

Wigglytuff had fainted, and was returned to its Pokeball. Jeez... I'm not sure what to do here... Wait... I know!
"Go, Raichu!" An Alolan Raichu was sent out of the second ball, eager to battle. Sakurai sighed in relief as he commanded Raichu to use Thunderbolt.

Before it fainted, Togekiss quickly used Tailwind, doubling Jess's team's speed. Then, Jess sent out Rapidash. "Drill Run!"

I'll be honest... I've never had a battle this exciting since my time as a champion! "Return, Raichu! Go, Primarina!" Next up was a Primarina, Sakurai's starter. "Use Hydro Pump, before it can attack again!"

Jess quickly called back Rapidash, instead using Raichu and letting him take the hit. "Clean switch, yeah Now! Use the speed for an Electro Ball!" Jess smiled as a huge ball of eletricity was hurled at Primarina.

Critical damage was inflicted on Primarina, but thanks to its bulky Special Defense, it still managed to stay in the battle. "There's only one thing to do now." Sakurai frowned. "Primarina! Use your Z-Move, Oceanic Operetta!"
