"No it doesn't! .... no, bur seriously, this all war stuff!" Nick said quietly.

"Is your wrist okay?" Ethan asked worriedly. He stood and looked around for any signs of where they are.

Kyfron shrugged. "I guess we should take care of it first then..." he admitted quietly, looking down at the ground in thought.

Aditsan initially nodded before trying to rotate his wrist, causing him to immediately wince at a sharp, burning sensation. "Great..."

PJ and Mila sighed and turned back to Jess as if nothing had happened.
"What's the plan now?" Mila asked.
"Wait for them to come back." PJ answered, yawning. Her Delcatty popping out of her Pokeball and stretching.

"The war? Well, yeah, obviously." Nick snorted.

Jess frowned. "Maybe we shouldn't have done that. Rocket could come at any point."

Ethan frowned. "Hey, you ok?!"

Kyfron rolled his eyes at Nick's statement, exhaling and taking a seat on a nearby bench.
"I'm still tired." he admitted.

"That would be extremely cliche and when we beat them it would almost seem--" Mila started, only to be interrupted by PJ.
"--anti-climactic after all this time." PJ finished, both girls looking at each other confusedly afterwards.

Aditsan forced a small smile only for it to completely turn around once he touched his wrist again.
"Something's up with my wrist..."

"Then you should rest. I think we're way ahead of the others, anyway." Nick frowned, sitting down on the bench.

Jess grinned. "Watch it actually happen." She smiled, before her Raichu attacked a Grunt's Abrok.

"Here! I'll carry you back." Ethan offered worrieldy.

Kyfron nodded, proceeding to prop his head up with his arm rested on the arm of the bench, dozing off some.

PJ and Mila turned in the direction of the Grunt’s Arbok.
“I’ve always wanted one...” PJ admitted dumbfounded whereas Mila on the other hand attempted to flush out any nearby enemies by focusing its Psychic on threats.

“Ethan... it’s my wrist, not my leg...” Aditsan reminded, standing up and sighing.
He then sent out a Noibat. “Noibat, I need you to find the others.” he commanded the Bat Pokémon who cried out its name before flying off into the distance. “Do you just wanna rest or something while we wait for Noibat?”

Nick sat quietly, digging around in her bag and finding a stale bag of chips. She hungrily opened it, she hadn't eaten since before the subway.

A few grunts scattered as Raichu used Electro Ball to attack a swarm of flying Pokemon.

Ethan nodded, sitting down. "So!"

Kyfron quickly began to produce a light snore. His Gabite looked up from her seat on the ground to look at Nick eating her chips.

“Staryu, Surf!” Mila called. Instead of producing a massive wave, Staryu rather created a wave that skimmed the feet and rose up to about the ankles of the grunts, which was followed by PJ’s Delcatty using Blizzard without being commanded to freeze the water and trap the grunts and their grounded Pokémon.
“Oh. Nice thinking, Delcatty.” PJ complimented, rewarding the feline with a Poké Puff.

Aditsan sat silently instead of speaking, forcing a small smile and blushing a bit.
“I’m sorry. That I’m awkward I mean.” he apologized, looking away from Ethan in embarrassment.

Nick waved to Gabite, crunching her chips. "Hi." She mumbled.

Jess grinned. "Smart move!" She grinned as an Arcanine melted the ice, letting the Grunts run away. "Those cowards!" She snorted.

"What is?" Ethan asked, oblivious.

"Gab-Gabite." Kyfron's Gabite cried, wiggling her claw showing that she wanted a chip. Kyfron, naturally, shifted whilst sleeping due to her cry.

Mila and PJ both smiled at Jess and then to one another.
"When can we get the tough guys? I like a challenge." Mila asked, her Staryu jumping up and spinning whilst crying to add on.

Aditsan shook his head and chuckled.
"Nevermind..."

"You want one? Here." Nick smiled, leaning down and handing the Gabite a chip with a smile.

Jess smirked. "Hopefully soon. I even felt a little guilty, they were so weak." She said as she flicked her hair over one shoulder.

Ethan raised an eyebrow. "So we're just gonna wait for the Noibat to come back?"

Gabite swiped the chip out of Nick's hand and messily munched on it, spreading what seemed like a million crumbs all over herself and the ground below her. After swallowing, she turned back up to Nick and mimicked what would be a thumbs up.

Aditsan nodded silently and turned his head towards the sky, squinting to see if he could make out his Pokemon. "You're so cute..." he mumbled, referring to his Noibat as he thought of the Flying & Dragon-type.

Mila nodded in agreement whereas PJ appeared to be distracted by playing with her Delcatty.
"So... your Delcatty knows Blizzard... and your Raichu knows Surf..." she mentioned curiously.

Nick laughed heartily. "Wow! That was... interesting? Adorable?!" She giggled, clutching her sides.

Ethan jumped. "I, uh-- what?!" He yelled, startled.

"Yeah, why? I taught it that for the type advantages. Versus ground and water." Jess replied.

Gabite grumpily turned away from Nick, blushing a bit. She then turned to Kyfron and swiped his Pokedex from his pocket and laid it gently in Nick's lap, tapping it with her claw to hint that she wanted her to read her Pokedex entry, taking a liking to being shown off in a sense.

Aditsan turned back to Ethan disoriented initially at his shouting, though quickly came back from it with a stretched "Oh". "I... I-- uh meant my Noibat... But... don't think you're -- like -- not cute either?" Aditsan stuttered nervously.

"Well. I think that's neat. I didn't even know Raichu could learn Surf or that Delcatty could learn Blizzard."
"I taught my Delcatty Blizzard for Contests. It's a crowd dazzler and combines to well with or against different moves so..." PJ revealed.

"Uhm.... alright? Gabite, the Cave Pokemon. In rare cases, it molts and sheds its scales. Medicine containing its scales as an ingredient will make a weary body feel invigorated." Nick read.

"Uhh?! That- what?!" Ethan said, with a small gasp of confusion.

"Sure is a shock, hmm?" Jess grinned.

Gabite puffed out her chest as her Pokedex entry was read to her. She then took her claw and tapped on the screen, loading a page where Kyfron had entered notes about the Dragon & Ground-type himself. In the notes, it revealed that Gabite refuses to evolve though would only do so if entirely necessary and that she doesn't like using Ground-type Moves too often. Kyfron shifted in his sleep.

"You're... not ugly..." Aditsan answered quietly. He sat there until he heard the sound of his Noibat crying from a distance, turning and spotting it ahead. "Thank God..." he mumbled, standing up in order to let his Noibat lead the way to the others only to reveal that he and Ethan had only been separated from the girls by a 10 foot hill.

PJ smiled at Aditsan. "I was worried sick about you!" she lied, hugging her cousin tightly in order to pass it off.

"Don't want to evolve, eh? Interesting. That would make you stronger. And able to Mega-Evolve." Nick pointed out, surprised.


Ethan gave the mandatory grin back at Jess, silently pondering what Aditsan had said before climbing back onto his Mudsdale.

Gabite looked back at Nick and shrugged. She then turned to her trainer before looking back and forth between him and Nick.

"Where's Nick and Kyfron?" Aditsan asked, PJ backing off a bit as he spoke.
"I think they're up ahead a bit. They couldn't have gotten that far considering how messed up they are right now." Mila deduced.

Gabite then quickly stood up and raised one of her arms up and pointed the other's claw at her stomach. "Ga-Gabite!" she cried, hinting that she was hungry. Gabite being herself typically only accepted food from Kyfron, though she was willing to make an additional exception from Nick's chip earlier due to her famine.

"Like-- Nick's all like 'Oh. Can't deal with that now!' and Kyfron's all like 'I don't understand feelings. Why doesn't she love me?'." Mila mocked.
Aditsan blushed strangely, looking over at Ethan before turning back with his head drooping.
