Corinne turned to Kyoto, tossing him some Asprin. "Sam is drunk. Or
dehydrated." She said, pinning him to a wall with one hand, then
shooting him with water with the other,
"I didn't want to have to do this, but, here goes nothing." Corinne
said, leaning in and blasting him in the face with water as she put
her knee to his chest and her free arm grabbed his arms together,
effectively restraining him. Then, when she made sure Sam was
hydrated enough, she shot a lighter beam at Kyoto.
Kyoto took the drink, getting some in his mouth and a bit on his
face. "Thanks." He rubbed his shirt on his face and shook his head.
"I feel better now. I appreciate it." He smiled softly. "I'm Kyoto,
nice to... Uh, meet you interesting folks."
"He's Kyoto, he literally just said it. Anyway. This loser here is
Sam, I'm Corinne." Corinne nodded instead of waving so she could
focus on restraining Sam.
"Seems like this guy here had a slight delusional breakdown." Kyoto
studied the two. "I used to study things like this back home." He
looked out the window, "But, at the time, we had these
leech-looking fellows all over the place."
(Hope no one minds the subliminal references to one of my old
stories. That's who this character's based on.)
Instantly, Corinne let go of Sam. "See, you were either drunk or
dehydrated. And then you tried to kiss me. So I restrained you. And
then you threatened Kyoto." Corinne said, barely blushing at the
first part.
"I call everyone guy, jeez lay off the temper pills." He frowned
mildly, "Now, take your friend's good deed and thank her for it. If
you had kept going the way you were, you would have gotten in tons
of trouble with other people. Male and female alike." Kyoto crossed
his arms, a business-like look on his face.
