Dawnpelt flicked her ears in response to Tigerpaw. She rose and stretched, then walked towards the medicine cat den. " Good day, Tigerpaw. How are you doing? " She asked, curious.

"I'm fine...." Tigerpaw mewled partially distracted. She mumbled through the mouthful of herbs that she had in her jaws. "How are you?"

Tigerpaw looked at the herbs she was carrying out. "You can help me if you want, but won't warriors get bored of this stuff?" She asked curiously. Remembering what Lilypaw had said about medicine cats when she and her were younger. 'Being a medicine cat is boring. All you do is clean up after the elders, and kits, and gather herbs. Who'd find that fun? Right, Tigerkit! I'm sure we'll be the best warriors ever!' Lilypaw's words rang in her mind, and she flicked an ear to get rid of it.

"Thanks" Tigerpaw meowed gently, and nodded. She went back to picking up the dead herbs. "We're just taking these bad herbs out of camp..."

Tigerpaw left camp with her herbs, and stopped at tree hill. She began to dig a hole to hopefully replant, and dispose of the herbs.

Dawnpelt followed behind Tigerpaw out of camp, and watched her dutifully bury the old herbs. She dug a whole, and buried the herbs as well. " What were these herbs, anyway? " Dawnpelt asked the young medicine cat.

"Just some Marigold. If it can regrow them we'll have a supply closer to camp" she explained kindly, and buried the herbs.

"They clean wounds...that is if you chew them into a poultice" Tigerpaw explained kindly, and muzzled through another patch of marigold that was beginning to grow nearby.

Dawnpelt watched Tigerpaw walk away, wondering if she should follow or not. Probably not, , she thought to herself. She didn't want to bother the young medicine cat much longer. She bound off to through the brush in search of prey.

Tigerpaw looked into the lake, and saw a few fish swimming by. She unsheathed her claws, and darted a paw into the water. At the same moment a carp flew out the river and flopped on the ground.

Breezetail was by the river, patting the water with one paw, ears flattened against her head. She was going to get over this, she swore she would eventually. Just.. one pawstep at a time.
