Tigerpaw looked into the water once more, and caught a very faint color of pelt for the cat. It was brown, but due to the light she mistook it as gray. The water then returned to normal, and the two starclan cats looked back to the medicine cats.

Greenbush's gaze switched from the river to the two StarClan cats. His tail twitched anxiously at the new omen.

Tigerpaw blinked, and tried to think of who they may have been talking about. They then went toward a group of cats that were further back. "Now what?" Tigerpaw whispered lowly.

The cats beckoned Greenbush forward, and the old medicine cat, Flowerheart, walked out of its ranks. The calico she cat looked at her old apprentice in amusement "don't tell me you forgot about Tigerpaw's apprentice ceremony. As DesertClan's new medicine cat you must do this" she me owed warmly, and looked at Tigerpaw. Tigerpaw saw her old mentor. Hawktalon sitting a little ways off, and nodding encouragingly.

Greenbush gaped at her. "Why did you ever let me become a medicine cat, seriously, I have no memory." He snorted and turned to

"I, Greenbush, medicine cat of DesertClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. Tigerpaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"

Greenbush blinked blearily, sitting up slowly and licking his paw. "Enter StarClan and their cryptic messages." He grunted and looked at Tigerpaw. "Welcome to the life of a medicine cat." He meowed cheerfully.

Tigerpaw nodded, and licked one paw, she was slightly thinking about the omen. 'Beware a warrior who seems to lie...' She flicked her ear at the omen.

Greenbush was still thinking about the omen, eyes twitching slightly. He looked at Tigerpaw again. "Keep the message in mind. Sometimes, StarClan's messages won't be understandable until after whatever they prophesied happened."

Tigerpaw nodded her agreement, and began to walk out of camp. "The fur of the cat...I could have sworn it was brown, but maybe it was a trick of the moonlight" she sighed, and remembered she had s small flash of color other than the deathberries.

Greenbush frowned slightly as he headed out a small well. "I'm not sure.. it certainly looked gray, but it may have been the moonlight." He shook his head.
