"It's nice to meet you too, Shadow!"
Aishi simply nodded, seeming.... Distracted.
"Uh... Do you happen to know where we are..?" Mia asked, looking
around again.
Crimson comes back to Cyanide. "Finished the barrier. It'll limit
magic and magical creatures, but nothing else, so we should still
be on guard." Cyanide nods, glancing up. "It's also getting dark.
We'll need to sleep soon."
"Uff." Cyanide rubs her forehead, muttering. "Everything was so
much easier when Ria and Discord were here." Crimson nods in
agreement. "Yeah, but now we're in charge, so we'll have to think
like them."
Maria glanced around the camp, looking for someone to
possible talk to or just hang out with. She huffs, shaking her
head. She couldn't bring herself to talk to someone. So she leaned
against a tree with her arms crossed, and closed her bright
eyes.
"So, five guards for now and everyone else sleeps?" Crimson asks,
and Cyanide nods. "All right, lights out in half an hour!" Crimson
calls. The various creatures and humans get to their feet, heading
over towards their designated tree houses and sleeping areas.
"Glitch, Liro, Reni, Frisk, and Kile you're on guard!"
Maria blinked, and tilted her head. She huffed, and
cautiously padded to Crimson and Cyanide. "Uhm, Miss Cyanide and
Mister Crimson?" She said softly, looking at them nervously. "I was
just wondering where I could sleep. I hope I'm not too much of a
bother..." She said, taking a careful step back. She was kinda
scared of them, really scared of them. She hoped she hadn't
interrupted anything as she noticed Shadow.
Laura's breath catches a little, but she ignores it. She takes off
her backpack, the gold 'collar' around her neck bothering her. Her
height wouldn't change, but she was like a normal human, and only
her family could take it off. She heads to a plain tree, and puts a
blanket and pillow on the thickest branch. Taking out a book, she
began to write. She didn't care for the story, though. It was a
cliché high school story, but it had some interesting characters.
"Ah, I suppose you're new?" Crimson gives a small smile. "There's a
mostly empty tree house where you and all the other newbies will
stay. Just over there." Crimson points. "Vermi and Uuku live there,
but they always live with the newbies at first."
"You can call me Cyanide. I'm second in command currently." Cyanide
replies. "I suppose you're new?"
Maria gives Crimson a soft smile. "Ah, thank you, sir!" She
said politely, before scampering off to the empty treehouse. She
climbed up the ladder to the inside, glancing around before passing
to a corner to sit down. She sat, and leaned against the
wall.
