Selena woke up the next morning. Her hair was out of its usual pigtails, there were bags under her eyes as she made herself some coffee, getting dressed but neglecting to brush her hair. She walked downstairs.

Selena, content with her choice of hairstyle, turned on the TV... only to see Drake. "Oh! He's actually doing it? Go, Drake!" Selena cheered. Oh crap. I forgot. Professors have to be at the ceremony. Better get ready, then. Selena realized. She turned the upstairs television on, putting on a white button up with the bottom tucked into a black pleated skirt to a little above her knee, then began braiding a small section of her hair back.

Drake noticed all the cameras and sighed loudly as he walked up to Malva. "It's been a while..hasn't it?" He said, as Malva stared at him. "I know you..?" She replied, as Drake stared at her. "Drake, the champion from a few years ago..." He said, as Absy came out of her pokeball and smiled. "Oh! Well, I won't go easy. Former champion or not." Malva said, as she sent Pyroar out. "This'll be fun." Drake muttered.

Absy stared back at Drake, awaiting his command. "Night Slash." Drake said, as Absy rushed towards the Pyroar and went in for a Night Slash. Pyroar attempted to dodge, but miserably failed. "Flamethrower!" Malva roared, as Pyroar attacked absy with enough fire to cause a burn on Absy. "Oh..It's on now." Absy said, a glare coming across her face. "Can't tell if you're trying, or if you're not strong enough." Pyroar said, as Absy's glare strengthened.

Drake made a smirk towards the two pokemon, and looked at Absy. "Swords Dance." He said, as Absy started to do a frenetic dance to keep herself inside the battle. "Pfft.." Pyroar said, as she went in for another flamethrower. Absy tried standing her ground, but was hurt with a burn. "Cocky bastard.." She muttered, as she went in for another Night Slash. Pyroar tried to tank the hit, but was caught off guard and took even more damage than normal. "Lucky..hit." Pyroar replied, as she fainted before she hit the ground.

Drake looked around in the crowd, smiling at everyone as Absy struggled to stand. Drake looked at Absy for a moment. "Can you take out the next one?" Drake asked, as Absy lightly nodded. Malva quickly sent Torkoal out. "Nice job Pyroar." She said, as Drake looked around. "I just wish Selena were here.." Drake said, with a light frown on his face.

Drake kept his eyes on Absy, as he spoke a few moments later. "Absy. Sucker Punch." Drake said, as Absy quickly punched the Torkoal, sending him back a few feet. "Torkoal! Use Earthquake!" Malva said, as the battle ground shook heavily, making Absy fall down. "I tried.." Absy said, as she fainted.

Incineroar walked past Drake, and stared at Torkoal. "Darkest Lariat!" Drake said, as he used the Incinium Z. A bright glow came over Incineroar as he slowly walked up to the Torkoal, and then started his attack.
